Permanent Ban

Hi, recently i just logged onto my league of legends account and all that pops up is a tab saying that I have been banned for toxicity. I know that i have been punished three times in the past, and I was working hard to becoming a refined player. I respect the report, but I don't understand how I got banned. I looked at the chats that I was supposedly reported for, and all I had said was that my team was toxic and they were bashing me for dying. In all chat I typed "Report --(the person)-- please, toxic". Maybe i was banned for calling one of them a brat? Is there any way that I may get a second chance? I understand that toxic players should be dealt with because they ruin the game for others. I was working hard to getting out of that. But I really do not see what was wrong with what I said. If you could please tell me how I got banned/how the chat was interpreted that would be amazing. I've spent a lot of money on this account and league of legends is definitely my favorite game to play. Would it be ok if I had another chance? I really want to change.

Reports do not stack. One the equivalent of 9, and Riot does not take more reports into consideration per game. Asking others to report a player (regardless of what they have or you think they have done/not done), is considered "ganging up" and adds to whatever chat toxicity there is already.

Example: someone is having a bad game and is 1-7 (we all have bad games). You start getting frustrated and angry that this person is "feeding', so you start telling all chat "report X for feeding! feeder!" You are adding flame to a fire, and demoralizing that teammate in the process.

Hope this helps you understand now why you were banned.

so 4 tiers of punishment:

  1. 10 game chat restrict
  2. 25 game chat restirct
  3. 14-day ban
  4. permaban

Every time you get punished, you move up the ladder.

Once you hit 14-day ban, you are on the edge of being considered "extremely toxic and unreformable". Thus any form of toxicity (calling for reports is considered harassment) will get you punsihed, especially if you've recently come off a 14-day ban. Which is probably what happened to you here.

Calling for reports is harassment.

at least that's what I recall from earlier occurrences where a player(s) called for reports against another on their team/opposite team.

just taking a wild stab at this, but pretty sure that's what you got nailed for.

In all chat I typed "Report --(the person)-- please, toxic". < --- should have just reported them yourself without calling for others to do so, that's what burnt ya.
