What is the point of reporting anymore

Hello all,

Today has been up and down day like any other when you play league, but more and more i see nothing but trolls not your typical trolls not the flaming raging 10 year olds who flame on you for dying or taking a kill or even a creep no today i have seen something different but it has happened more and more in the games played today, Its the i refuse to leash the for the jungle top laner, who goes out of his way to go top lane and when you ask for help to leash he just sits there, then proceeds to feed the other top laner, This has happened more and more and just happened to me in back to back games. Then you have the players who openly tell you they are giving up and then sit around towers afking in the jungle to farm or in bot and top lanes to sit around and wait for the game to end. I now ask, what is the point of reporting, riot doesnt ban these players yet these are the player who worse then the flamers and ragers, you can mute these guys but you cant do anything in the game about these players who will ultimately cost you the game and LP. Does riot even care about these players, from the way it looks, I would have to say nope, all they care about is making a community friendly and decent, All the power to them, but if we really want that shouldnt there be some way to do that, like reporting with replays of the game, more strict punishments on these players, lets rid our selves of the players who refuse to play the game properly before you get rid of a flamer.
