Toxic players make me feel like I don't want to play

I had the most horrible encounter tonight. I was minding my own business playing some casual aram with teemo and we had an almost all mage team against us. I sucked, probably because of the three beers I had and well tried to have a nice start in the weekend. Then two guys came along insulting me all through the game, even though they sucked as well "stealin" if you can even steal kills in aram and just being plain horrible, stating because i sucked so bad in the game i must suck in real life and so on. I'm in a bad place in my life right now and playing league has been a joy and though I realize many of these people that say horrible things are 14 year old boys, I would just like to remind everybody to be kind while playing. Words hurt, even coming from stangers. Even if somebody plays bad, it doesnt give anybody the right to insult. Have a nice weekend!

Welcome to the internet! Better disconnect if you take things like that seriously - actually kinda welcome to life but don't disconnect from that one.... that was a bit morbid.

I'm sorry you had to experience it...sadly there's a lot of cruel, mean jerks out there that seem to like to get off to being toxic and verbally abusive to other players. Best thing you can do is mute them right off the bat before you start playing. I've had to do that many times when I left an abusive relationship and I was very sensitive about everything. Keep your chin up...there are good league players out there that make the game worth playing. Sending good thoughts

Same, happened to me I was too stressed at the time and, I over-reacted. But, I now know that blame the player not the game. So I'm reinstalling LoL. I'm a idiot.

That just happened to me in a BOT GAME , yes .. a BOT GAME ... 4 premade starting to getting mad because i got the most kill in the Team and begin to insulting me for nothing ... Reporting this kind of players is impossible when your 1 and they reporting you for nothin when they are on premade ... i just don't know to deal with that ... sorry for my bad english that not my first language ...
