Account banned for 14 days for leveling too fast in 3v3 Co-OP vs AI?

Myself and a few others basically zoomed through 1-30 by buying the stacking XP boosts and playing 7-8 minute co-op vs AI games.

We played for a pretty significant stretch of time because we just wanted to hit 30 ASAP.

One of the players is a streamer who streamed the leveling process, and if you check the co-op vs AI chat logs, you'll see myself and the other two people having discussions, laughing, etc.

We made tickets about a day and a half ago and have not gotten a reply yet.

Is there anyway to resolve this? We wanted to play during the weekend but we've heard this has taken people weeks to get resolved.

Hey there Brien v2. WookieeCookie was working on bot detection and it may have swept up some people like this incorrectly. Please submit a Support Ticket and they'll remove it if that was the case.

Hope they resolve this and give you your account back. Glad to know Riot's banning people for "botting" with exp boost but not banning actual bot accounts.

The system seems a little odd.

That being said, I do not know what triggers it.

Maybe time played in a short time frame, xp gained in a short time, etc.

Either way, the ban is only 14 days. Even if I was a legitimate botter, isn't a 14 day ban pretty light instead of just perma banning the botters?

Maybe it's just easier to ban a significant base of the players and resolve the outliers through tickets rather than have a 100% accurate system.

Their post in the other thread mentioned finding a way to detect it before the "damage has been done", or the accounts have been sold is my guess. Maybe they are just going super strict to discourage botters on the short term.

I met a bot account that was purchased. The account went from playing free week champs in ARAM/co-op vs AI to suddenly playing Azir in ranked only. No normal 5v5s. I reported it and Riot said it wasn't a bot account. 10/10

Actually did you keep suiciding in game or something? because there are bots in 3 v 3 treeline your acc might have been mistaken as a bot, these bots actually keep feeding there in order to be carried by team mates

We didn't suicide, but we also didn't stomp the games either.

We only killed the bots if they were basically running into us or in between towers, so sometimes the bots would get cheesy kills on us(if we tank tower shots in order to get the tower kill or the overleveled top lane bots rotate to their base to stop the game from ending. )

Did you not read? He only played against bots with other players of his level (friends) so he could get right to level 30 and start playing against opponents that don't get stomped too hard

If it was a mistake as a result of the bot detection experiment and you've already submitted a support ticket, then it will get resolved. It may take a bit to get a response because they are backed up due to the number of impacted players.

At this pace, the 14 day ban will be over by the time Riot actually responds to the ticket.
