Riot doesn't care about trolling, is there anything as players that we can do?

Below is the response you get for calling people out on the forums. We all know their in-game reporting system has failed so this is a clear 'bugger off' from Riot.

As players can we use the replay system or automatic chat logs to track player behavior ourselves?

Please continue to use our in-game reporting system to put these players through our behavioral systems. > > Here is a link to your post below: > > http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/f/ZGEFLEUQ/d/toGAtVW6

understand the system and stop spreading false rumors, as the in-game reporting system hasn't failed. Infact, the system is actually pretty good in punishing the ones that deserve to be punished. Riot also does manual ban waves against trollers / griefers.

Just the visibility for the ones providing the report sucks, as you don't see a notification if your report was building towards a case of the punishment. You'll only see a notification if your report was the final report that caused the guy to be punished.

This make you feel as if your reports don't do anything, hence thinking that it has failed.

My question is how do you report someone in-game if they are champion select trolling? We just had to dodge because someone picked Soraka ADC (they presumably didn't get the role they wanted). Since we did not actually complete the game, I am not sure how to go about reporting that.

You are right that they don't care, that is the same copy/paste response I got for repeatedly being attacked with racial and homophobic slurs.

Riot only wants money, they don't care how greasy they are or look, they just want money.

My solution is to spend my time playing Overwatch, I haven't once had a problem, especially not to the extent of the problems I've faced playing this game. In fact, I just got out of an ARAM with a twitch who got reported, odd how these people seem to pop up more and more lately.

90% of league doesn't have aproblem, 10% does or something like that is it cost efficient for riot to implement a system that could produce no additional revenue? Riot made a game they didn't make the community you have an option screen shot the logs don't copy paste them(do that to) open a ticket to the support peoples they can do something about it

I don't think they necessarily don't care, its just easy to get around any automated system by trolling in a non obvious way. Its not like chat where it just scans your logs and hands out automated bans, trolling reports would have to actually be checked.
