I have just lost all hope for this game... been a long time supporter till i saw the Riot teams true colours recently. i've been a very active member in league for the past few years mostly in 2015 though i turned really active like playing every day after work and all day weekends. i loved the content they have the setting everything seemed wonderful so i had no problem supporting them and buying hundreds of dollars in skins, but the 2 huge problems with this game are the community and how riot deals with the community. i received a permanent ban on my account. the funny thing is ive never said the n-word or any discrimanative terms or homophobic or sexist. i am only human though so i have lost my cool a few times.. ive called someone an idiot for not paying attention or if i see someone feeding and notice its because their build is just completly wrong ill say "hey your nasus you shouldn t build damage just go full tank and stack q all day." the problem with that is most people just cant accept constructive criticism and it leads to me getting reported when im just telling you how to not feed as much. like how is this grounds for a permanent ban. its not like i every threatened any of my teammates or anything harsh i just tell them blunty how i feel which i should be entitled to as long as its not racist or discriminative or homophobic or a threat of any kind. RIot needs to actually watch game replays and do a better analysis than what they do like tribinual gets a log of your chat and yes and no button and that is it. they have no idea what happened and i bet the logs barely get skimmed at all because ill put the chat log up that got me a permanent ban and please tell me how its grounds for a permanent ban at all.

i know i said i didnt swear when i did but i meant like i didnt swear really at the team i said nasus dont build fucking damage, but i wasnt swearing at him i was just swearing in the sentance cuz i was frustrated by that point he was 0/5 already like 10 mins in. like to be honest shen was way more toxic than me ever since i said wtf to him the entire rest of the game he just kept saying how he was going to get everyone to report me so i get sent to tribinual and nasus easily jumped on board after i told him not to build damage. like i reporeted them for herrassing me all game but i doubt anything happened because of that. I just dont get how this is the reason my acct got a permanent ban ive seen way more toxic stuff from people and reported them and never even got a notice saying they got punished for it like the tribinual is really broken right now and Leagues policy itself screws people like me over. like i put hundreds into this game to support Riot and they turn around and stab me in the back when there are way worse actual toxic ppl that sit and say they are going to slit ppls throats and murders familys and call ppl n-words homos fggts and any other awful thing you can think of and i call someone an idiot for making an idiot mistake and they are like yeah this guys too toxic to play in league like how does that even make sense...[zombie-brand-mindblown]

Thought you put 2 chat logs together for a min. do you play in-between all that shit slinging? I wouldn't have liked playing in that game. Some of the things your talking about others saying earn instant perma , ya know.

What you have to understand is while you are throwing the blame and calling names builds and other nonsense, the other players game are getting ruined by it. GAME Game get it. I'm thinking this isn't your whole chat log line by line by things you said. Dude, you did the crime now just do the time.

The above is what got you banned. Negativity and making negative expieriences for other players is bannable. You either had multiple chat restricts and temp bans, or were excessively toxic in other games. GG Ban deserved go sad. <3

I feel ya. I used to play Starcraft 1 and 2 competively (was master tier in sc2) and there was never an issue with toxicity. I used to play counter-strike competitively and the only issue I ran into were opponents trying to get under your skin with verbal abuse, a thing I actually found really entertaining. I mean, who doesn't enjoy a little trash talk in video games? Played League now for almost 6 years and now I keep getting chat restrictions and bans for merely replying to a teammate who feels the need to verbally abuse me. Never seen this level of toxicity from allies in a game, and whats even worse is when you don't mute/ignore that player but instead say something back, you're the one getting reported and punished. It's just over the line. Even Riot's Lin admits that the vast majority of what they consider toxic activity comes from casual players who happen to have 1 or 2 games where someone is being a total ass and ruining the game. 1 to 2 games out of hundreds. And that is worthy of a ban. And if you happen to have another game where you act like this within 3 months of a previous punishment, guess what? You get a permaban. 6 years of playing, hundreds of dollars, thousands of man hours, all for nothing.

To be fair no one can truly tell you how you behaved or others behaved. Only you and the people in that game know. Just take a break and understand its a team game and you're going to have conflicts regardless. Once my friend got banned because everyone thought he was trolling when he was just really really really bad and just starting off at the game, funny thing is he never said a word nor did it bother him he got banned. It's a free game, just enjoy it and understand not everyone's skill level is the same, you're going to get trolls here and there, not everything is going to go your way, you're going to get into disputes with other people. Best thing though is just mute people if you feel they are negative or you might be and if you must just say your piece and mute and move on. You kind of went on about your team and your chat log is pretty big to be fair. Just chill out for a few days and come back fresh with a new account or something. Anyways Good Luck.

I fail to see how calling someone an idiot is in anyway helpful. Also, why give up on a lane if they mess up one time?

You know there's a better and more respectful way to advise him to build more tank stats rather than just demanding that he be full tank and that he should also stop building damage items as well.

More name calling and harassment directed towards teammates who mess up. Once is bad enough, but more than that is just unacceptable.

Did you ever stop and think that maybe, just maybe that he doesn't want to play as Tank Nasus? Yes it stinks that he's dying so much, but constantly raging at him for not playing a champ the way that you think that they should be played is only gonna get you in trouble.

  1. Yes, you are toxic, and you have been for pretty much the entire game really since you continuously rage at your teammates when they mess up or don't play how you want them to play.
  2. Again, it is not your place to dictate how others play certain champions, and raging at them for not playing them your way won't get them to play them your way, so knock it off.

Okay, so you're good at playing Nasus, that's fine. However, just because you're good at a champion doesn't mean you need to continuously harass someone who plays them differently than you do. If you want to offer advice, then do so in a respectful manner rather than just demanding that they play them the way that you want them to play them.

You don't need to swear or curse to be a jerk, and trust me, you have in fact been a jerk in this game.

Conclusion: You have a bad habit of raging at people and start throwing name calling and insults around when they mess up. You also seem to think that if you're good with a champion that you can dictate how others play them, and if they don't conform to your standards you continously harass them over it. You see this is why you got banned. Since you got permabanned that means that you've had previous punishments already but refused to change your act, hence the permaban.

My Advice:

  1. Everyone messes up every now and then, even you. Because of that, name calling doesn't solve anything and more often than not will only make them play worse instead of better. Try positive encouragement and say stuff like "it's okay, we'll just try to get them again next time" to build them up, because then they'll be more willing to do stuff that they might not do otherwise, such as taking more risks or playing more conservatively or aggressively.

  2. Just because you're good at playing a champion a certain way doesn't mean that it's the be all-end all way that the champion can be played. It also certainly doesn't give you the excuse nor the right to start constantly harassing someone over the way that they like to play a champion. Offering up suggestions in a respectful manner is fine, but flat out raging at them and demanding that they play them your way is not fine.

My Verdict: Punish.

Additional Notes:

  1. Just because someone else is behaving poorly doesn't excuse your own poor behavior. If you retaliate negatively against them then the both of you will be punished, it's as simple as that really. Just mute and report them if you've asked them respectfully to stop and they just flat out refuse to do so, as raging at them is giving them exactly what they want from you, and that is a negative reaction. Plus the chances are that they have already been banned before and are just mad about it, which is even more reason not to retaliate against them like they want you to do.

  2. You're only given a notice about them if it was your report that triggered a punishment against them. That doesn't mean that they haven't been punished, but simply that it wasn't your report alone that triggered the review/punishment against them.

  3. You don't have to use adult language to be a jerk. There are people who have either used very little adult language or none at all but have gotten punished because they were consistently being a jerk.

  4. Riot will not go and remove features just because others would try to use them to be jerks. Instead they'll just remove the jerks and be done with it.

  5. The mute button and language filters are not excuses for you to be a jerk, and free speech doesn't apply here either, so don't even bother to try to use those excuses here as they just plain won't work here.
