I got a 14 day ban for cursing twice in a normal

This whole event in general has made me really upset. Ill just post the complaint I sent to riot because I don't have the energy for this. Let me make this clear, I have never received a chat restriction before. The fact that my penalty skipped from 2 levels of chat restrictions to a ban for a single game is absolutely absurd.

Here is my message to riot: Starting a week ago, I stopped playing ranked in lol because I started to encounter intentional feeders and toxic players in my games. I realized that ranked made me very stressed so I started to play more normals and it has made me much more relaxed. I do not understand why I recieved a 14 day ban; my account states that I was banned because of toxic behavior in a normal I played. Keep in mind I have never recieved any chat restrictions before so I must have been acting severly disruptive in this one particular game to skip all the way to a 14 day ban. The game I played had me playing cassiopiea as an adc, building attack speed and attack damage items. It is uncomventional, but I was actually trying throughout the game to hit as many minions as possible, help my team out if they needed me, and I was not intentionally feeding; I was trying to lead the team to a win. Looking at the chat log my client showed me as a reason for my ban, my communication was benign except for a few parts. The majority of the chat is me saying 'lol' if I died to a silly mistake in lane, 'nice' if someone on the team got a kill, and sentences of encouragement saying we can win this game; I was positive to my teammates. The only annoying thing I did to my teammates was ping the death times on my teammates who were dead while I was dead; I did it because I thought it was funny and I didnt do it all the time when possible. To my oponents; I said glhf at the beginning of the game. I typed in '?' at one point when one of the opponents died and I typed in '???????????' at one point when another opponent died but even then I typed into all chat right after 'jk <3' . There were two instances in the game where you can saybis wrong: the first instance was where I said 'wo %%%%%% %%%got' to an opponent and right after 'wp i mean' (since i mistyped) because they outplayed me and killed me. This was obviosly wrong to say because it was racist. The second bad thing I did was type to the opponents saying 'kys %%%s', something I typed at the very last seconds the nexus exploded where I doubt they couldve read it. If the enemy team reported me, I dont understand why because they were monstrously ahead in gold the whole game, every lane on my team were losing very hard and we had no advantages. In conclusion, I dont understand why Im banned because I was in a normal game, I was being positive throughout to my teammates, I was trying throughout and not trolling. The 2 things I said was bad but it doesnt justify me getting banned since I was good for the rest of the game. I have had this account ofor years, I have many champions, many rune pages exc. and I dont want to get the possibility of maybe being permabanned. I have almost never been reported throughout the time I have had my account, and as a person who tries to be positive every single game whther Im winning or losing all I have to say is shame on you. You guys are bullies by trying to ban my account for no good reason and threatning with a permaban, there are people who are SUPER negative and intentionally feeding in ranked and nothing happens to them yet if I slip up with 2 insults to an enemy team who is winning VERY VERY hard I deserve to get banned. Please reconsider my punishment, Ill be sure to not insult the enemy team like that again, thank you.

Yes. You got a 14-day ban for cursing twice in a normal game. The system is working exactly as intended in this situation. There is a zero-tolerance for hate speech and death threats.

ASSUMING that this game is representative of your behavior, literally all you have to do is not do those 3 lines, and instead continue what the rest of your chat logs were, which were admittedly positive.

Of course, I would review the other games in the file just to be sure if I were you.

Why is there "in a normal" in thread name? Does that make it any less toxic? Does hate speech mean less if said in normal game?

anything that gets changed to %%%%% is generally means to get banned. No racial/sexual slurs allowed. Zero Tolerance.

It's actually quite scary you can't see why you're being punished as harshly as you are.

Also it's very hard to believe this is the only game where you have said stuff like this.

wow that was a well written sentence there, but you didn't deserve that 14 days suspension or perma ban.I have a friend that is beyond toxic (if you played god of war then you now what i mean) and mostly get like chat bans or 14 days. but i never feel ashame behind all that negativity he's one great of a player actually a beast...I didn't see what's wrong with your chat history only the 2nd to last you typed ''kys''.I bet riot co-workers must had have a hard time in high school and couldn't dealt with they ''Bully(ies)'' problems, no wonder their just decided to drop a atomic bomb on our asses just to intimidate us lol mb ... i hope you get back your account and your right about one thing though rank have alot of int.feeders and it's really annoying.

Here's the thing; you can be good and positive throughout 90% of a match, with the 10% being those two remarks that very clearly deserved a censor, and you'll still get banned, because "Zero Tolerance" means Zero Tolerance. That 10% is not tolerated, period.

And "being good" for all the rest of the match does not excuse you from punishment; neither does the match mode (Normal, Co-op Vs. AI, ARAM, whatever have you), nor the fact that the enemy was winning very, very hard.

While light smack-talk is allowed, belligerent hate speech is not. If you don't want to get permabanned, take this fortnight ban as a lesson to never use those words again, regardless of context.

Also; just because you said it just before the Nexus exploded so the enemy wouldn't see it doesn't mean you never said it. You said it, and as such counts against your character for the sake of reports.
