Getting priority queue for (sometimes) no reason 0___0

I understand that priority queues are there to stop people from going afk BUT PLEASE what about if you fail to connect in a ranked game? I got priority queue because my laptop crashed and when i tried to reconnect to the game, 5 min after, it said : "AFK LEAVER BUSTER". I don;t think is my fault for my laptop crashing (which happens to everyone at least once) especially when I DID NOT want to go afk. You should't get leaver buster if your teammates remake before you can reconnect.

It's intentional to issue a leaver penalty regardless of the reason. If your laptop crashes once, you're right that it does happen, but you only get leaver penalties if you've left multiple games; the first time you leave is a freebie with no punishment, just a warning.

Even if the reason for your absence was out of your control, you're expected to take steps to avoid it, because it's a problem for the rest of the players no matter why it happened. Riot can't really determine that your laptop crashed, so if they didn't punish for that people would just force a crash to get a free dodge and abuse the system heavily (this would be pretty terrible for the entire community).

If you don't leave games often you'll work off the leaver status on your account and you may be able to have these rare issues with a low or even no penalty. If you are frequently crashing you need to get some assistance to fix the problem before playing.
