What's the point of a report system, even?

I can report people for being dicks to teammates, being immensely vitriolic and loud, and going on racial tirades all I want, and I haven't gotten that "player you reported was punished" notification for months despite people acting up loud and clear, and I can stalk their match history and watch them play day after day doing the same thing. Honestly this is to the point where I just straight up rack up hours of low priority from dodging the Yasuo who stole mid and called the actual mid laner a n****r for daring to contest the lane that they earned, or the Shaco going AFK after getting executed when they started E. Yesterday Riot decided to 14 day suspend me for int feeding due to a Sona sitting under tower to make the typical "shit jungler/no jungler/boosted jungler uninstall league" rant over me dying to three people trying to kill a scuttle crab. I died again trying to invade and got yelled almost my entire team save the top laner, and knowing that a report literally won't do anything, I decided it was fair to make their experience as shitty as mine, and then Riot finally decides to notice, and bans me for that? Am I expected to just sit and play a losing game where my team refuses to help me because I did bad early game, or leave so they can report me for afk and have the automated leaverbuster bust a "toxic" player? And then doing what's closest to the right thing gets me punished when people can do worse while Riot ignores it? If the report system doesn't do anything, why bother to have it, and why ban people for ruining the games of toxic people who genuinely deserve to have their games ruined like they do to others? Because from what Riot's telling me, it's wholly okay to be as toxic as you want, able to int feed and harass teammates as much as you want, as long as you don't do it to other toxic people. If I'm going to be forced to put up with toxic people because Riot won't do anything, the least they can do is turn the other way when it's toxic players having their games ruined.

That pop-up isn't really that common. I've honestly never received it myself, but I still trust the system is working (I mean, all you have to do is read this section for a bit and you'll see that it is).

The system validates every report that comes in. If it find it's a valid report, that player gets a mark against them for it. We don't know the specific thresholds Riot uses for when a punishment is finally triggered, but it essentially takes a certain amount of marks in a period of time for a punishment to go out.

So why do you not see the notice? Because it only goes to the person/people who reported the person in their last game leading to their punishment. It just means you're reporting them before they're at that threshold. It doesn't mean your report counted for anything less or didn't help lead to a punishment on that player.

Also, assuming the person will get punished relies on the assumption that they behave that way frequently. So in some cases you might get the one game in several months that a player crosses the line. If somebody isn't consistently causing problems, they aren't really the target for the system.

Now, regarding your punishment for intentional feeding, it's pretty much impossible for us to offer valid input on that, since we don't know what games brought on that punishment, and even if we did we haven't seen them. If you truly believe it was a false flag by the system, you're welcome to submit a support ticket and ask for your case to be checked again.

the funny thing is that the more you report, the more your report is worthless, that mean that if you report every pice of shit in the rift, you are pratically doing nothing.

I've gotten the popup maybe 5-8 times. I also read this board a lot, and a see a lot of people saying they were banned. Seems to be working.
