Toxic and irritating players usually spam pings and it can't be avoided. I like pinging and smart pinging but I don't like when teammates abuse and harass with it. I can mute the player but I can't escape ping harassment Riot please make this a feature; if the enemy player is muted so are their pings.
there is a reason you can't mute pings A. muted players need SOME way to communicate. even if not through chat. and B. there are players who just mute everyone regardless of if theyre toxic "including myself"

I agree, that we should be able to mute pings, however I think it should be separate button, after all many people are toxic and we mute them, but their pings still might be useful, there is no need to mute pings as well if they do not abuse them.
