Uuuh so how do I start this, i said kys" keep yourself safe" in a match with friends, i said it as a joke so i didnt think anything would happen, later that game our gp afked for good, i know this since i was in a call with him, then i asked to ff 15 saying i give up, i was supp morde so i just went top with my friend to push as hard as possible.

im not complaining its just that im really really scared of getting a perma for just saying something like "that was bad" in the future, is there like a hidden system that determines if you get permaed or something? I read somewhere that this resets after 3 months but im still scared since i actually enjoy this game and spent money on it.

yes i know kys is a autoban word but i wasnt aware of it in this game.

Am i just being paranoid about getting permaed?

I think I've lost count of how many people say kys and say that they mean "kiss yourself", "kiss your sister", etc. Just stop saying it and mute people.

It's approximately 3 months of regular play PER TIER of punishment. What 'regular play' means is unclear, but probably around a dozen games per week. A 14-day ban is the third tier of punishment.

Well, if you are toxic in future games, you certainly could get perma'd. If you're particularly worried about a perma, I encourage the following lines of text (and ONLY these lines) for every game you play: Player: gl hf Player: /muteall Player (at the end of the game): gg wp

Certain words phrases (hate speech, racist stuff, self harm (kys)) can escalate a punishment. I assume that you got a 14 day and this is what happened to you. You can always send a ticket to support, but I don't think they care if you used it in jest or thought it meant something else.

NO YOU ARE NOT BEING PARANOID. If this indeed was a 14-day ban (instead of a chat restriction), then YES, almost anything negative will get you perma'd. SO obviously no hate speech, etc...but also no harassment at all. If a team mate makes a mistake, I think it's safe to ask them "why?" once or basic things like that, but don't keep chatting "at" them. And certainly don't attack anyone directly.

Blue has the best option though...just try not to chat at all, just in case.

Oh no you're definitely not just being paranoid. If you just got a 14 day ban, you are on very thin ice and any fuck up will automatically be a permaban, until you show good conduct for a while. The period of time is undetermined and depends on your behavior and amount of games played with good behavior. I suggest not using chat anymore unless it's completely neutral or positive. This means no more "jokes".
