Riot should allow mild toxicity in ranked games

I know many people are gonna get their pitch forks out and down vote hell out of me. But ranked games are emotional for me and many other players. We live and breathe league. Ranked should not be considered for the casuals and thus Riot should be more lenient on what types of toxicity is allowed. Calling someone shit or retarded for making a terrible decision in a ranked game should be allowed. And flaming them for a loss should be completely under the guidelines. I'm a plat 1 player (could easily get diamond) and see nothing wrong with a teammate who wants to flame me. If it's justified I will say "my bad" or if they go too over the top then I'll mute the person. The thing is people at higher ranks generally win more than they lose, so its impossible for them to flame everygame and maintain their rank, so I just don't see the point of banning or chat restricting people over this. NOrmal games are a whole other animal because I believe these games should be casual and treated as such. If riot wants to ban and restrict people over flaming in normals, then I completely understand this.

Also hate speech such as homophobia, and racism I agree should not be allowed period. Or sending threats to people. But just calling your teammates shit and retards absolutely not.

These two statements don't exactly align. At all. If Ranked is more serious, then it should be taken more seriously - meaning absolutely no infighting whatsoever.

No, it shouldn't - especially not calling someone "retarded". If you want to harass people and use hate speech, go somewhere else.

You may not see anything wrong, but here's a few things for you:

  • Flamers play worse because they're focusing more on flaming than playing.
  • Flamers drain team morale, making everyone else play worse, because the asshat who couldn't control themselves is demoralizing them.
  • Flamers are more susceptible to get worse and worse as the match goes on - the more it lists away from where they want it to go, the madder they get, and the worse they play.

Before that, we should make changes to ranked so that it's not as available to casuals. Such as restrict a player from picking champions that they don't have 3 wins with yet. This would prevent people from first-timing newly reworked / released champions in ranked, as well as randomly trolling with commonly known troll picks unless they committed to earning access to those characters for ranked first.

new plan, keep it to yourself. Why not just be constructive? If they dont listen nothing you say will get them to help you win. So why try and get a reaction out of someone else intentionally with charged words

(im gold 5 rn btw) i personally really dont mind flaming, its just that 99% of the time, they are wrong the only time i remember someone being right and mean, was a tf that told me i should clear instead of starting a slow push since we were behind and needed the gold for items and comming back. and i would gladly have that happen everygame i play and i would enjoy it more than right now.

but exept that time, i dont remember a single time, weither it was directed toward me or someone else, usually toxic people are wrong in low elo. if you are telling me what im doing wrong, ill gladly let you call my mother a c**t, but people are just toxic saying im an idiot without saying why and even if i ask what my mistake is, they answer either "you died"(wow, no poo poo sherlock) or "what did you do wrong? huuum... YOU WERE STUPID!" and think they made a point with that... if it wasnt the case, i dont think we would even need a report button at all (for the toxic part)

See now it just cuts to the point that the high elo players should be given things above low elo... but the only reason your probably high elo like in anyother game with a ranking system is due to you being an old player in the game. I have yet to see a high elo smurf in low elo go from bronze to diamond as a midmain.
