Permanent ban for 1 game

I was permabanned from league a year back after a 14 day suspension, and i was wondering if there is anyway to appeal or undo the ban. I was permabanned for only one game in the client message box and i did not use any racial slurs or homophobic insults, just calling 1 person bad and saying "fucking" and "retarded" , which is toxic but not as bad as bad as threatening people or being racist.

I read some other threads and people were saying it had to be serious for you to get banned for 1 game, but i don't see anything that big for what i said to induce a permaban. I know its probably impossible to unban an account but its worth a try.

I didn't say that i was just quoting what one of my teammates called me, i guess that might have triggered the ban without the context though.

Even with the context it would trigger a punishment -- Riot has a zero tolerance policy to that sort of language, regardless of the circumstances.

The instant permanent ban seems uncharacteristic of the system in a case like this though -- have you ever received any punishments on the account that you can remember?

I got a 14 day suspension, and maybe a 10 game chat ban before that, it was a year ago i cant remember. I did not realize quoting what someone said meant it as actually saying though.

I can see this escalating an account with a prior 14-day suspension, since we don't know the exact timeline required to fully reform an account that has received that penalty. I would have personally thought that a year of good behavior would be enough to clear an account, but that does assume rather frequent play AND a very low report rate.

And yes -- the zero tolerance rule isn't the most clear (in my personal opinion), but it also isn't the most obscure -- it's pretty common knowledge that those words aren't acceptable, and saying "he called me a racial slur" accomplishes the same thing without actually reusing the word in question.

You're welcome to try submitting a ticket to Player Support, but the zero-tolerance rule is, I believe, usually upheld.
