RIOT: PLEASE BRING BACK "HONORABLE ENEMY"

I honestly like the new honor system, I do, but the one thing I really miss is the "Honorable Opponent" option. Sure, with the new system where you can only honor one person it'd deprive your teammates, but I feel like if you had that and also the option to honor one person on the enemy team as well it'd promote better behavior in all chat and cross-team as well. It's disappointing that back in season 5 when I started playing, I could have a good time with even people on the enemy team bantering back and forth and making dumb jokes or having "bro lanes" in norms, but now even if I really enjoy playing against someone on the enemy team or talking to them, or if they just play well and have a fun time, I can't honor or reward them for that. I'd really love clarification on why this option was scrapped when it was something that really did encourage you to be kind even to people on the opposing team. Again, it makes sense that with the new system, especially in higher elo where matchmaking is snipe-able and you can easily coordinate matching up with or against friends, that it would be abusable- but I feel like it would be worth it if it promoted better behavior in the community. Thoughts?

EDIT: If any Riot Employee sees this, please drop me a correspondence down below on why exactly this system was scrapped, as I'd love to know why exactly it was changed to be the way it is now. Thanks! (Also title change)

I liked getting the honor, but I'm not a big fan of honoring the enemy, particularly because you can't see any of the enemy's team-chat. So all you know about their behavior is that they said "gg" at the end. It seems like a feel-good type thing, but it doesn't feel like it holds as much weight as being honored by your fellow teammates.

Yeah, i would like that. Usually, if my enemy is really enjoyable to play against, i say "gg" or something to them directly after the match, although, having something else to give to them would be pretty nice.
