This game is getting harder and harder to enoy.

Hello all,

This is moreso letting off steam, but here goes.

This game is getting harder and harder to enjoy with a good portion of the community being selfish and downright toxic. Now it doesn't happen every game, but it is a consistent encounter to have at least one teammate that doesn't contribute and brings everyone else down because you "took cs," "left them to die (not going to dive in to save you from a 1v4)", or outright flames and uses racial remarks. I hope that the Tribunal system works well to punish these players accordingly.

My other thoughts on WHY supports my post title because I feel that we have quite a good portion of the LoL community with the thought process of the world revolving around them. THEY have to be the one that carries and not the one that get's carried. I shall name this the "entitlement mindset." I'm not going to name anyone, call out a generation (i.e. millennials, grade schoolers, working adults), or any ethnic or racial groups, but we need a system in place that rewards players with better mindset teammates to help save them from those with the entitlement mindset. While we do have a "naughty" queue where the consistently negative and toxic players get placed, but it doesn't feel like it is enough.

What I am proposing is that Riot places a bigger emphasis on the honor system and rewards players with consistently positive behavior by placing those players with other players that follow suit. It demoralizes me to see/encounter so many players that blame the team rather than look inward and try to improve themselves. Now, I am not saying that I or anyone else is perfect, but I do TRY. I usually mute players being negative to avoid being tilted by them or stooping down to their level.

I apologize for the somewhat unstructured post, but I hope you all can discuss this without starting a flame war.

Very respectfully, 50shadesofYESSSS

that'd just be saying make a queue for toxic people, and put them all together.

what is the difference if you get toxic in both sides of que , either flex with diamond tiers in bronze and solo Q about same with smurfs , why separate more ?

I learned to focus on enjoying good teammates rather than focusing on toxicity. Yea negative & toxic behaviour was/is/will be in this community forever you need to learn how to enjoy the game for the game itself and you shouldnt depend on getting good teammates.

Yea people can ruin your games but their behaviour in chat can be easily muted. They can ruin the results of the game but its still just one game out of hundreds you will play this season.

Be aware im not defending toxicity , its bad and should be punished but if you get tilted because of it or you let it impact your joy of playing league it means those trolls succeded. Focus on your gameplay , try to improve after eery game and learn from your mistakes. This way even if you loose because you had ghost cleanse nunu mid performing the well known "disco nunu" you will improve fastly and be better.

Its not a perfect solution but its the only one i got :/

I also wish that there were more effective measures in place for keeping the game enjoyable. My big thing is when teammates basically stop trying, and just keep running down lane and getting killed every two minutes without getting any kills or towers. There's a certain point at which carelessly feeding and intentionally feeding become indistinguishable. I recently made a post about this, and given your desire to keep the game enjoyable, I think it's something you may agree with. Either way, I'd be interested in hearing your opinion on it over on the thread's page: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/6qUT19A0-intentional-vs-careless-feeding
