Banning your own teammates not punishable

I bought Zoe the moment she came out, first thing in the morning. It's midnight now and i still haven't played her. The only thing worse than fighting all day for the right to play something once is the way people act towards each other during this time. EVERY SINGLE TIME i lock Zoe and I'm close to the top my own team bans her. I leave game because I don't want to spend 20 minutes to an hour with "that guy" treating me the way we all know he will. I have no problem playing other champions, I do have a problem going into a game with teammates who are already treating each other like this before we even spawn. It's not a question of fighting for the same role at this point. If we allow this sort of thing on a constant biases; and fold in to the childish people doing it, and punish the people unwilling to, is this an environment people will want to be in? Frankly it's disgusting, and the fact that people don't see it as a serious problem is disappointing. It ruins any excitement I had for the new developments in this game, and it's so unpunished that it's consistent and reliable. Currently waiting out another time out i guess.

It's almost like there are bots, and a full practice tool available to try new champs out on with various rune pages and builds, but you know, its best to jump in a 5x5 pvp and autolock to get a champ you haven't learned yet simply because you spend money on her.

Nobody wants to play with a first timer. I advice you practice her in blind/bots for the next two weeks and then she will likely be left unbanned.

This is something i don't think will ever happen, just for the sheer fact that there is more cons than pros. Yes when a new champion comes out everyone would want to play as them. Usually only the first pick will be able to get said new champion, and if that isn't your teams pick you can kiss that champion goodbye and that's assume it pass the banning phase. Once people see it ban they will dodge and that's just as annoying.

But lets not forget this is a new champion. And even if you played with her in PBE, that still not enough to handle normal PVP setting with the majority of league players. People want to win (especially in Rank, but the game mode doesn't matter) and most people dont trust when someone wants to play a new champion because more often than not you will likely feed thus resulting in an automatic lost to the game because you clearly dont have enough training to play said champion, know their counters, or item that goes well against/with them. Why risk a lost towards your teammates just so only you can get enjoyment for playing the new champion? Remember not everyone can play a long period of time like you. Im sure there are people who can only get in 1-2 games and to have it wasted on a losing game all because someone wants that new champion seems wrong.

With that said as well being punished for banning a player pick just isnt going to happen. If you are last pick what is stopping you from just claiming that champion and basically giving it to the enemy team? That doesnt seem right.

This is more to do with the fact that she is a new champion, most people are going to insta ban zoe without even looking because she is a new champion and most of the playerbase doesn't know how to play her.

It's not that nobody sees it as a problem it's just that there hasn't been a way to be able to stop this reliably and in a way that doesn't negatively affect the game, there is also the fact that you are allowed to ban whoever you want. If you do not want to play against x champion you don't have too.

If you want to play her so badly go to blind pick you have a better chance of getting to play her as in draft pick she will likely be perma banned for almost every game.

If somebody doesn't want to see teemo adc in their team or teemo support in ranked it is understandable. And if one finds than banning a specific champion will give better chance to win, why not ?

We don't expect anyone to be decent in champ select. I really don't know what to say anymore besides it's just disappointing. They is literally no way to do anything about the people already coming into a game being toxic before it starts. I don't get what I'm missing, reports can't be filled out on this part of the game and it's constantly awful to deal with somehow and no one thinks those two things are related.
