One bad game and I'm perma banned???

I lost a game and lost it.. cussed this guy out, yes I was wrong, yes I shouldn't have done it, yes I said things that should never be said to anyone but a perma ban? FOR ONE GAME? I have not had a chat restriction, not had a 1-2 week suspension, not had anything and then out of nowhere I have a perma ban because I had a few drinks got on and had an incident w/ this one group of people? Are you serious? When I log in it shows "Game-1" - horrible, aweful, chat log which yes deserves punishment, but PERMA BAN?!?!?! 1 game??? That's all it takes to be permanently banned from League? Are you kidding?? I don't understand it, how can 1k games of good behavior get canceled out by 1 game of jerk off behavior? HOW?!?! I just forked over $30-$40 for riot points to u ppl and u just ban me? Refund my money at least... holy crap.

There aren't any "logs" there's one log, and as I said above it is aweful. I said a bunch of awful things that deserve punishment but a perma ban?? It's one game... When I log in it has a big msg that says I've been perma banned and gives me ONE chat log, for ONE game. I don't need to post it, I admit I was wrong, but perma for one game? No warning? No suspension? No chat restriction? Just perma ban? I am just amazed here.

But this is the ONLY chat log, period, cited in the perma ban. And it is not preceded by any suspension, any warning, any chat restriction, NOTHING. It is just a perma ban.

Riot tends to escalate cases where the behavior is extremely bad. The type of behavior that should already be known isn't acceptable.

I think it's easy for ppl to comment on here and get on a high horse and tell me how i deserve it when they can't live up to the same standard they judge others by. Which is exactly what is happening here.. W/e, make a new account, level up again. Love the game, hate the company, hate this community. Just muting everyone at the beginning of every game from now on.

Nobody in this thread has even given a hint of being on a high horse. They all commented with facts. What you did is considered hate speech, and Riot takes that very serious. Everyone here told you it could escalate depending on what you said. No one said HAHA YOU DESERVED IT.

Found it funny as hell that you started with "a bunch of oversensitive, entitled millennial" without having the slightest clue of anybody you are speaking to. That is another great example that you need a HUGE lesson in self control.

But of course, I guess it's 'just human' to tell someone to kill themselves because they didn't play a game to your expectations. I guess it's 'just human' for that same person to go on several rants on a forum because of that. I mean, I guess it's 'just human' that everybody does this.

Nobody is holding you to any expectations besides being a reasonable person that can control their urges.

Sure, saying "kill yourself" might not mean something to you. But what if the person you said it to is a 15 year old that is abused at home and teased at school. What if that person is seriously considering suicide and is playing LoL to get their mind off of it, and end up having a bad game. What if that person is told to kill themself. What if that person ends up dead tomorrow. Sure, it's a lot of "what if" but tell me this: What happened to that person you talked to? Did you add them? Do you still see them online? Can you honestly tell me with 100% certainty that the person you told "kill yourself" is still alive right now? Can you tell me that you are completely confident that the same person went on to play more games? Want to go check and show me I'm wrong? Go for it. Tell yourself that you didn't end someone's life. Tell yourself that everybody is being sensitive. Tell yourself that nobody could be in such a state that being told "kill yourself" after failing in yet-another thing in life could lead to them actually killing yourself.

Don't worry, just follow up with a "just kidding" or "I didn't think they'd actually do it..." and you'll be just fine.

I have never, EVER, said anything remotely close to the hate speech you word vomited in those logs. In a video game, online, in real life, or otherwise. The fact that to you, doing this is normal and ok sometimes, and that disliking the disgusting hate speech you spout is considered being "sensitive", shows just what type of person you are not. First of all, the only sensitive one here is you. Second of all, you buy RP of your own choice. It grants you unique benefits you wouldn't normally be able to get with just IP. It does not ensure you the freedom to speak like you have no common sense! If you want to pick a fight with someone, you're just as much at risk for punishment than the one who started the fight. Say you played with or against yourself. Would you flame yourself or mute? And you have only those two options.

Every single person playing has the option to never see anything I say.

If I came across someone like you in game given the chat log above, I'd probably attempt reasoning and calming then mute if it got out of hand. Not everyone's the same.

All together, you deserved the ban you got. People have already told you hate speech isn't tolerated and clearly to insult and act the way you are even on the boards, you're not as truly sorry for your own actions as you think.

Look, of course, people will judge you for what you did. Heck, Riot did that, hence you got banned. However, that does not entitle you to flame everyone who shows you why you were banned. There are people who want to help you here, giving you advice and showing you the truth.

Bans can escalate tiers depending on what was said and done. You haven't shown us what was said, so we can only assume it was something that is 100% against what Riot thinks is acceptable. Things like Racism, sexism, various hate speech are pretty much things that will cause your account to get a prema-ban even if you've never been reported once in your life beforehand.

It's because they can dish it out but they can't take it. These people are so used to being able to get away with saying or doing anything they want and now that they're finally being held responsible for their behavior they get mad because they don't like it.
