THe report system in this game is a joke

im sick and tired of gettin my account banned because the trolls who move in numbers all report at the end of game ... no1 looks at the reports to see if there legit its just a numbers game and a friggin joke most players agree the report system in this game gives power to the trrolls more then it serves a purpose of actually banning bad players and toxic people... im so over this game and ill be contacting my credit card company to make sure i reverse all the charges made from riot games .... go fuck yourself riot .

It's not a numbers game. If you do not say anything bad, you will not get punished. Even if all 9 other people report you in every single game.

If you are confused as to why you were punished, I recommend posting your chat logs so we can help you figure out what happened.

so the remove the chat function cuz ther banning poeple out here for anything .... ucant tell another player anything about anything for fear of gettin banned because there is no limit on how many times a person can report someone.... and u got nothing to lose by jus reporting anyway ... the report system in this game is the worst i seen in any game

You will not be banned unless you are abusing chat. I use chat all the time and I'm not banned. If you are confused as to why you were banned, please post your chat logs. We can help identify what crossed the line into abuse.

First off the system is fine , second off you cant get banned for false reports , if u were toxic then u will get banned .

Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.

The system is no way "fine". Trolling/feeding is almost never caught by the automated system. How is that in any way "fine"?

There are much worse forms of "toxicity" than chat.

um its caught many times , don't believe me ?

First take a look at the boards (in players behavior) , a lot of people are asking why they are banned ^.^

Also if somebody is trolling and feeding you can report them at the end of the game , + in the report you can type what they were doing . ^.^

Take a look at the boards, and you'll see almost every single person was banned for chat. The system is ineffective when it comes to trolling and feeding , and Riot themselves have recently admitted to it.

The words you type in the postgame aren't even read outside of manual reviews as the system is automated.

you see when i first started this game , my first account got banned , because i was (stupid and retarded) ^.^ i was intentionally feeding the enemy also buying a lot of boots (that is intentionally feeding,trolling as well i guess ) , and hey i got banned , so i can tell that the system is working okay ^.^

Your single case where you made it obvious by purchashing multiple boots does not make the system "okay". People have fed for quite literally hundreds of games and not been banned.

Riot has said the system needs work.

Thats the default excuse which protects feeders under Riots system. The automated system cannot determine someone's intent outside of running down mid with mobi boots. Because Riot would never want to risk banning a player because of "just a bad game", feeders go unpunished outside of rare manual reviews.

I don't think you understand how difficult it is to make an automated system to handle feeders and trollers. If it was easy, it would have been done at the same time or before the IFS for chat. It is in development (as has been confirmed by Tantrum a time or two here in these boards), but it is (likely) far from workable at the moment, which means it is still being trained.

Of course it would be difficult as Riot doesn't want to disrupt "just a bad game", but that doesn't mean the system is ok or fine.

They have never said the troll/feed detection system is ok. That aside, there is nothing wrong with having a chat based system of automation in place first, since it was the easiest to build (relatively speaking).

my first punishment from riot ever was today and it was a 14 day suspension and it only gave me logs from one game and most of the comments weren't even negative

^ i've had that happen to me Was my first time being punished and got Two week so i just played on a new account Only reason i got it was because me and my buddies got a little carried away and it escalated so now we just discord so ally / enemy cant tilt from personal conversations Saying that you didnt do anything as the person i replied to said is a lie because i've had entire lobbies report me because they didnt like that i was playing off meta champions in normal draft pick Nothing happens unless you do something to enable the system to do its work So just mute all at start if you tilt and play the game normally you generally don't need chat to play

"A number of reports does not impact whether or not you get banned" No matter what.

A autobot/ or actual worker will scan through chat logs/gameplay (depending on what your reported for) and they will confirm and ban you if you are toxic in any way. So no matter how many bans, the system will be the same.

Good luck with that. You were the one to break the ToS and got banned. And I am fairly certain someone will have said this already, but the number of reports in a single game does not matter. Any number simply flags the game for review by the IFS and it does automated things and applies appropriate punishments.

Also goodluck reversing the charges considering you *CONSENTED * to the withdrawal of funds VIA internet you have a small timeframe to undo charges made onto your account and thats usually within 24 hours of them being applied
