25 game chat restriction that is not needed at all. Riot needs to fix the report system asap.

i recently just got a 14 game chat restriction, which was the first one i have ever gotten. I had one or two bad games after almost getting honor lvl 3. I lose all of my honor and cannot get it back till riot deems it necessary. Then today on 8/23/2017 i had one of the most toxic games ever. Our jungle was afk farming past 10 min but was saying he was looking for ganks, even though i had multiple easy kills top lane that i asked and pinged mulltiple tiems for. i go down 0/2 by making the mistake of typing and asking for help, which i shouldn't have to do for 12 min just to get a response in chat saying stop trolling/being toxic. I proceed to play out the rest of the game and not be even 1/10 of the toxicity of my teammates towards me. All i was asking for was some help and all i got was flame and more flame. ill provide the chat log riot gave to me to "understand" why im being punished. So forst off i get 14 games for 2 bad games on a lvl 20+ account, lose all my honor and cannot get it back for a while. I then play multiple games, get some honors and be nice because i want to get my honor lvl back and up to 3, but noooo. Riot has to but a 25 game char restriction, meaning atleast another week or two without earning any honor. I dont see how defending myself without being vulgar will earn me a ban but the players who are actually ganging up and being toxic get nothing. I would like my chat restriction taken off and set to lvl 1 honor. It is not fair to be robbed of something new that i have been working hard towards.

Then look at how you asked for it. By claiming your jungler was afk/sabotaging. Do you expect he will then help such a nice person?

No, they will mute and ignore you, since you are starting to flame/blame right from the start. Its no suprise they also flame you back, given you start this bs. If you get flamed often, this is definitly due to your own, toxic behavior. Toxic people encounter other toxic people very often, since tehy provoke this behaviour.

This CR is legit, working as intended. Next two punishment tiers are 14-days and perma.

Calling reports is not allowed. Next time stop typing and just play. That said this is a mild chatlog, but still worthy of a punishment (explenation below).

The punishment system works like a ladder.

It goes:

10 game chat restrict 25 game chat restrict 14 day ban Permaban

A log like yours can make you go up the ladder, especially if you've already been punished.

Normally, this chat log wouldn't trigger a punishment, but imagine this:

Your toxicity (and account status) is like a cup of water. If the cup spills over you get a punishment and ascend the punishment ladder. Water also very slowly drain out of the cup. You start out by having an empty cup. Everytime you're toxic the cup fills up with some water. How much depends on how toxic you were. Now, when you've been mildly toxic alot the cup will get filled a bit often and eventaully spill over.

Riot says, ok I'll clean the water you spilled for you, but don't do this too often. You get faced with the punishment and you take it. The cup is still completely filled to the brim. Now you are mildly toxic immediately and the cup spills over again. Riot once again cleans the water and warns you with a harsher punishment. The glass is still full. So being toxic again will result in a 14-day ban. Though the water is draining at a slow rate, and if Riot sees that you've let the glass drain (because you werent toxic), they reward you by descenting you a step down the ladder. When the glass is completely empty you've reformed and is a the lowest punishment tier, where the next punishment will be a 10 game chat restrict.

It's worth noting that hatespeech, and telling other to harm themselves can and will fill multiple glasses and result in an instant 14-day ban, or even in rare cases of VERY extreme toxicity, an instant permaban.

At no point in ANY game should you ever yell at your teammates. EVER.

I'll be honest, I think every league player in existence struggled with this at one point or another. Its a competitive game, mistakes happen.

Calling people retarded or toxic isn't going to get them to play any better or help you. The best thing you can do is chill and learn how to play from behind in any lane... As LeeSin puts it... "Master Yourself, Master the Enemy." In the end, League is both a micro and macro game; You personally have to learn how to survive without help from your team, but you also need to learn how to cooperate with a team when its necessary. If you yell at your teammates, they are much less likely to listen to you when you call out a game winning play, and in that case its YOUR fault. You're the one who decided to piss them off. Let me ask you this.... In real life, if you talked like that to someone, do you expect them to still listen to you? Not bloody likely.

Bad games happen. Get used to it. Learn to play better and work with your team, and you might find yourself actually winning these supposedly bad games.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that you died there. If not, you were at least hindered in some fashion. That probably should have been your first major hint that you should stop typing and play the game.

this game is a valid report.

Pair this game with your previous chat restriction, couple of games not shown in your reform card and viola; 2nd tier punishment.

Keep up this attitude and your next punishment is a 14-day ban, and you'll have less games in between before you get punished.

EDIT: you aren't defending yourself when you go insulting other people. Its counter attacking at best, which is still toxic.

i get i should have stopped typing, but im sure all of you have had one bad game. I never gave up and only was trying to get help. The flame started before i even asked the jg to come help me. Im just shocked that i can be yelled at that much and be the one getting a chat ban. A total of maybe 3 bad games for a 25 game chat restriction.. feels good riot. the toxicity level of this game is insane. Most times i mute, but its hard to play the game sometimes when its 2-4 of your teammates being super toxic and all you want to do is try to win the game. Thank you all for the feedback and i am really trying here as a new player. Just think it was a little harsh to go from 14-25 soooo fast with not even a single curse word. they should look at the logs of the other players.. Have a good day
