Justified 25 game chat ban?

Chat log is after my description.

Be me. I'm the random in an apparent premade. That call all of their roles(mid, jg, sup, adc), and i filled by taking top. After lock in, blitz the support wants top, and I refuse because of team comp. At this point their pantheon tells me "no ganks tp"...I thought he was saying something about my tele as you can see from my first few lines in the game. I soon realized he meant "no ganks top" based on my refusing to trade with his premade partner. They end up feeding bot lane 19 kills, not ganking my lane, and flaming me for the majority of the match. Throughout this I manage to push down all turrets top/bot lane. I did what I could in a game that was painfully trolled. Ultimately, we lost.

Now, I've been muted before for 10 games(totally justified, I was a dick), but I've been trying to be more productive and nontoxic in disagreements and issues. I don't believe I ever flamed or behaved badly to the point of a 25 game chat restriction. Aside from general discussion and requests the only thing I said that was bordering on offensive(in my eyes) would be "my team is whiny as hell" based on them trolling and demanding that the other team report me.

I'm not a great player, and I get raged at a lot...should I just not talk anymore? The community has always had it's trolls, but I am hesitant to report anymore because when I do...I end up receiving punishment. I feel like in the past year the game/community has devolved to the point where maybe I should just instantly mute everyone as I start a match(I primarily play blinds).

Advice and thoughts? Does the punishment fit the "crime"?

I read until you asked for a report.

Asking for a report can = Banned.

It only takes one report. You don't need everyone in the game.

First off, you talk a lot. I'm not sure if you've figured it out, but the more time you spend typing in chat, the less time you are actively playing.

Second, calling for and announcing reports is considered a threat. Not only that, but I count 15 times you mention reporting someone. That's rather excessive.

Third, accusing someone of trolling gains you nothing. Either they are a troll, and think it's funny that you start arguing back, or they aren't a troll, and get angry at the accusation. Either way, it only succedes at making the situation worse.

I'd suggest learning to keep your mouth shut during games, or your going to hit the 2-week and permaban levels pretty quick.

You don't need to say anything. If I were you, I'd pop my enter keys out of my keyboard and unbind any keys that open chat.

Pings are a universal language, you really don't have to say a word and still communicate exactly what you intend to do.

Anyone who tells someone they are going to report, like anyone cares, or calls someone toxic is a pansy and deserves a perma.

Thanks for all of the responses/advice. It seems the only constructive way to play without being banned is to simply play and mute others while refraining from speaking myself.

If anyone would like to add me to play then I welcome it. Would be nice to have people I can do premades with that will less toxic than most.
