My Honor was locked, after I got a 25 in-game chat ban after being flamed/ reported by a premade team while trying to defend myself against their toxic behavior.
My question is: How long will my honor be locked for?
Is it a timed thing? or? I submitted a ticket asking this question, just thought i'd also ask the community because im not sure how long it will take someone to reply to my ticket.

Example of defending yourself without flaming: them: "You're a fat person." you: "I am not!" or silence

One is 'defending' yourself while also attacking them. aka, not good.
As for how long it is 'locked for'. It's locked for as long as you're punished. Then you're at 0 with reduced benefits for a while. Then at some undetermined amt of time and games or honros or whatever, you start leveling normally. It is not easy to get out of

Then you're asking the community to give you answers you'll flat-out reject because they're not absolutely certain.
We don't have all the info on how Dishonorable/Honor Locks work, and the only way you'd get a 100% certain response is from Riot.
Even still, their answer still is helpful - it's a rough guess as to how long Honor Locks last, which you should be able to test the theory.

Yes, riot will not give you a specific amount of time or games that it takes. You just gotta keep trucking. Keep in mind, valid reports against you that are not found to be egregious enough to warrant a punishment, can still stunt your honor progress. You will never know. So the best way to continue, is to never insult anyone. Defending yourself in league is muting. You silence the threat against you. You remove it. Muting is the only self defense as far as chat goes. Remember, self defense is for your personal protection, not to retaliate against someone who insulted you. It really has no place in league, as you are never under threat of physical harm. Obviously you are at risk of emotional harm, and that's why you are expected to mute if they are hurting your feelings. Otherwise, just take it and don't respond with ANY negativity. It's for your own good. Not me trying to be holier than thou. Riot is just pretty strict on chat things.

both examples are examples of defending yourself its just second one is not snowflake approved so it will get u banned
