The punishment system is absolutely ridiculous. People can troll and feed a game all they want, and all they have to do is either not say anything, or feign innocence with something like "sorry guys :( lagging". But the moment I say something to the troll that could be considered rude? I get a chat restriction, I get a temp ban, etc.

Why is there not some sort of system that allows the mods to view a game's footage, so they can catch these trolls and punish them properly? Why are they allowed to do whatever they want, but I can't call someone a feeding b*tch, without getting banned?

I just got a 2 week temp ban for cussing a guy out because he was purposely feeding, running into towers, following me around in the jungle and messing with me, taking my jungle camps, etc. Yet nothing happened to him despite him ruining the match for my team. EVERYBODY in the enemy team was on his side, saying he was just having fun and I was in the wrong for cussing him out. Why is that okay? Do people not have balls anymore? Can nobody handle some cuss words when they're ruining everyone else's game?

We do have systems for detecting intentional feeder, and they work pretty well. Just report the player for feeding after the game. Yelling at them isn't going to solve the problem, and is actually giving them exactly what they want.

what about the ones that dont say anythnig and dont feed but rather just dont do anything. afk lane farm. ping spam near a person/ follow said person around for no reason and steal their xp? what can you do about those kind of trolls

Same thing. Report them. Describe what they're doing in the report. Riot isn't relying on just automatic systems to catch trolls. If someone gets reported for such behaviors Riot will look into it and catch them.

And remember, don't flame them, don't ask other people to report them, just leave a good report and move on.

It's not like this happens very often. In my 4k + games I never had a guy who trolled this way. Not worth thinking about something that happens this rarely.

And splitpushing ("afk lane farm") isn't punishable. Btw. if somebody is doing this, nobody hold you back to just join him. So it's a 5 v 5 again. (most of the time they just don't know it better and think it's a good idea to splitpush)

im talking afk farm like never leaves top lane for the duration of the game as a pantheon or xin zhou people who get their best advantage from roaming to mid or invading the enemy jungle. they never ward they overstay every time they get ganked repeatedly and die almost every time unless they blow alot of summoner spelss. when someone who is 0 8 and 0 hasent said a word all game and even though we ask nicely for him to ward and ward for him sometimes but this guy just couldnt be helped. thats what i call trolling. thats not "im new or bad or i lag" thats just i like to ruin peoples games

Im completely against OP here, but that level of feeding and troll does happen quite often in Silver 3 - Bronze 4. It's really sad but theres really a 10% that either side could have one troll Edit: that statistic was made up, but theres trolls on both teams fairly often is what i was getting at

What do you expect? In bronze are the worst player of the whole community. You shouldn't expect there anyone to know how to play this game ;D (they are bronze for a reason) I played a lot of games on a bronze account (below bronze 5 to silver 5) and I crushed the games with 10 up to 30+ kills per game. People don't feed on purpose, they feed because they don't know it better.

number one. holy crap can you speak some coherent english please.

number 2. i have never been in bronze nor have i ever been in bronze that said feeders are frequent enough to be a problem in all elos up to around high gold which is where the feeding stops (for the most part) becuase people are serious about it more.

number 3 smurfing (which is what you said you did)is just backwards feeding when you look at it. feeding is when your intentionaly bad to the point of throwing the game. smurfing is cheating the system by creating alternate accounts there for putting yourself at an extreme advantage and ruining the game for the enemy team.

Im pretty sure if people got report feedback more often after reporting a troll or feeder, many of them would stop yelling at them and just report them because they know they will get punished by the system that works pretty well. c:

He didn't get punished, and regardless the fact that I DID get punished all because he couldn't handle a few cuss words after ruining a game for 4 other people, is, for lack of a better term, stupid.

And you know this how, exactly? Even you managed to guess correctly that he wasn't punished this time doesn't mean he won't be later. The punishment for that is more severe too.

Your punishment, however, is not just due to this game. It is the culmination of many games of abusing your fellow players. If you don't want to play by the rules, don't play. If people were ok with your behavior they wouldn't be reporting you.

This game is full of children who are so sensitive they can't handle being called names, but have no problem with ruining a person's match by feeding purposely because they know nothing will happen to them.

this game is also designed to be followed by the summoner code and is rated for "mild or infrequent langauge" which means that anything other than the ocasional (excuse my language please for the sake of example) damn is pretty much against the rules

The ESRB rates the game for the content in the actual game itself and does not rate the online interactions with other people. Also, you can use adult language as long as you're not directing it at someone else.

it's the same in real life, non-adults troll others and they get no punishment for that. while if u beat up that kid who broke your window/shitted on ur yard then u are in big trouble.

Next time dont curse.. you can use screen shot and report it to riot support All trolls want only one thing.. to make you mad and to say some bad words.. And a poem to make your pain lower:)

If you fall in the trap of troll make a new acount and keep it roll:P next time i know you will be more smart but now covers you the trolling fart:)
