Collective Dodge System for Griefers?

Hello,

I feel that we need a system implemented to nip people in the bud when they troll. I've been getting more into ranked, and have noticed that when people's first pick champ or role is denied to them they troll. We need a system in place that allows a team to vote a champ select dodge with either 4 or 3 votes for. Otherwise we need a quick appeal system with live GM's in place for the people that acquire a dodge timer to spare others from griefers. I don't see why my, or otherwise anybody else's rank or play time should be affected by these people. Riot, check my account and see that I don't dodge often at all.

I say the vote should be available to a certain point in champ select, maybe half of summoners locked in or something? What about a vote to kick a certain person in hopes of gaining someone serious about playing? I feel that last option would mitigate potential abuse of the system.

Thoughts?

It's simply not possible to troll in champ select.

It is possible to pick a suboptimal pick, but there is no enforced meta and it's extremely rare (if not virtually impossible) that someone's intent is so clear in champion select that they are punished for trolling. I have never seen a case where someone was punished for their actions in champion select without damning chat evidence or the game actually starting and them trolling in game simply because there is no enforced meta/pick strategy and anyone can play any champ they feel is viable - not you, but they.

A live system is not going to happen. It requires people, which requires money. There are tens of thousands of games going on at once.

A vote to kick someone would not mitigate abuse, but it would cause rampant abuse. People would enforce their own opinion on others just because they didn't like them. They'd look teammates up, say "oh your winrate isn't 60%, we're going to vote kick you now". Etc, etc.

The issue with having a kick system is that it would be used beyond its intended purpose. Groups of people would kick others for off meta, for having a low win rate, because the enemy team got great picks, and so on. I just can't think of a way to keep the kick system exclusively for trolls.

The live GM idea has the problem that the playerbase is far too large for a reasonable task force of in-game GMs. Especially given the tendency of many players to mistake poor play for trolling.
