So many "trolls"

At least every second game I get one. Runs into 1v2s 1v3 1v4 1v5s and ruins the game. If I don't get one of those, I get a flamer that is obviously a "challenger" smurf that calls everyone bad and spends more time typing in /ALL chat rather then playing the game. Or someone that just auto walks downs mid and feed endlessly because someone took his jungle camp. Or the enemy team clearly has a platinum/diamond+ smurf player carrying. I'm currently gold five. I can't climb up for the life of me. Win/lose/win/lose/win/win/lose/lose (etc). I had better players in bronze & silver. No lie. Is gold the new bronze? Am I in a troll bracket?, I have /ALL chat turned off because there is no reason to be talking to a group of people you plan on "stomping" on. Would you want to talk to someone that plans to beat you up? The answer is no. So I turn it off. :P. I only talk if its needed, (Let's baron now,/Drags up in 30 lets contest it/ push with me/Defend/Turtle. (etc). But no matter what I say or do. That one (maybe two or three) will decide i'll just troll. I'm very close to quitting league of legends because these players make up 75% of the player base.(Free-2-play OP) I'm not a god at this game, or maybe not even plat worthy. But i'll know when I keep getting these players.

I should add: The first toxic comment I mute the person. But it doesn't do anything.

This isn't a rage post or a salt post. I just want normal people. People that take ranked as serious as I do. Is that to much to ask?

Good thing you have all chat muted , there is so much toxicity there that I have kept it on just for the giggles.

Now , first thing you need to consider is that you cannot control how others will play. Sure you can tell them to do specific thing eg play defensive but simply do not expect them to do what you suggested or said. What I have learned from my time in league is that it is best to ignore other people and focus on your game. You cannot change how others play , so there is simply no point in complaining about that. I know it sucks to have bad teammates or afk's or trolls but it is something out of your hand. If you get such players - simply consider the game lost , sucks ? yeah but again you cannot do anything to stop that 0/5 guy from going in rambo mode and trying to 1v3 enemy team. Report trolls/flamers and move on.

Focus on your own game I say. Spot your mistakes and improve on them. There is always room for improvement. If you die or lose a game ask yourself what more you could have done in that situation for better outcomes. Remember afterall you are just 20% of your team. There is only so much you can do alone to win a game. Games are much more team dependent nowdays , at least that is what I feel. Most important thing is , just like bad teams you also get good teams. If you want to climb you must win every game where you get a decent/good team. GL n HF =)
