Is it possible for players to hack accounts without using passwords or me being present on league?

So I had recently played a match, and one of my teammates started grinding heads with me over our loss of the match. Long story short he/she implied that they would steal my account or get back at me some how. After I left the lobby, this player spammed me with friend requests, but I denied them in case he did have a way to hack me.

So what I'm asking is if it is possible for players to hack into my account when I'm not at my computer. And if so, how could I prevent them from gaining access to my account or computer?

I have this player's gamer tag (which I should have reported in the post game lobby), but I'm withholding this information for an admin, should they look into it.

It's unlikely, but not accepting a toxic player's friend request is the right move. Don't post anything here, submit screenshots or info in a Support Ticket to Riot.

If you make sure your password is complex and your login name is different then your in game username, hacking would be complicated.

Complex password options:

  1. something completely random 4@'%X`QvgVTKGFA< (don't just copy this ofcourse)

  2. copy a random phrase and break it into a complex password. It's a trap! Don't you becomes: 1t's_a-trap!_D0n'tyou (which is relatively save)
