I got perma banned for using a little friendly banter. I should not be banned if they are also being toxic towards me. I would understand if I went out of my way to flame or be toxic towards a person but when they also participate it is fair game. Riot will ban me for using few cuss words and used stats to prove my point. If calling someone bad then you should ban everyone. Now for saying "kys" it was used as a joke. As for the word "retard" it means pretty much nothing on the internet. This could be justifiable for chat restriction but a perma ban now thats just unrealistic. I would like a real person to review this and decide whether or not it deserves a perma ban. Hello real person here You deserve your ban, I don't care if you meant "kys" as a joke. Telling people to end their life over a game IS NOT a joke. Using "kys" is a zero tolerance policy and just because you meant it as a joke doesn't mean you should be allowed to use it. Telling anybody that is never a joke and shouldn't be used as a joke as it's a very serious comment to make.

Secondly you are responsible for YOUR actions, you yourself to become toxic there for you got punished. Just because somebody else is doing it doesn't give you the right to do it to.

Yeah you deserved it as they could not tell you said "kill yourself" as a joke with all your other stuff you said as telling someone to end their lives is not a joke

No, it's not. You ever heard of "don't fight fire with fire" or "two wrongs don't make a right?" Yeah, that applies here. Just because someone else is being toxic towards you does not give you free reign to be toxic back without any consequences. No matter what other people are doing/saying, it's never okay to be toxic in response. All that does is add even more negativity to the situation, making it even worse. Also, I really wouldn't consider any of what you said "friendly banter." Were you friends with the other player(s)? I doubt it. What you did is harassment, plain and simple, and that is not acceptable behavior here in League of Legends.

As for the "kys" comments, telling someone to "kys" is not a joke and should never be used as such. Riot takes death threats/encouraging suicide very seriously and is something they have no tolerance for. As such, they are grounds for an escalated punishment, skipping over certain punishments straight to a 14 day or sometimes even a permanent ban.

Now, my question for you is, have you received any punishments prior to this? Any chat restrictions or a 14 day ban? If not, then it might be possible to get your punishment lowered to a 14 day ban if you send a ticket to Player Support and explain your case there. If you had received a prior punishment, particularly a 25 game chat restriction or a 14 day ban, then you're pretty much out of luck. The next punishment after having received a 14 day ban is a permanent ban, but even if you received only a 25 game chat restriction, I believe it might be possible to skip the 14 day ban from that point straight to a permanent ban since considering that "kys" comments receive escalated punishments. You can still try to send in a support ticket in this case, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high.
