Question about permaban protocol.

I want to know if Riot send an Email to a person who has had a 14 day suspension. And if so, does it mention the next ban being a permanent one ?

When you receive a 14-day ban (or any form of punishment really) you should receive an email stating why you were punished along with a Reform Card showing some of the recent games that you were flagged in. The Reform Card also appears in the game client when you log in. If you can't find the email in your main inbox or spam folder then file a Support Ticket asking for chat logs. Also yes a permaban is the next step after a 14-day ban if you still decide to act up.

NOTE: The email is sent to the address you registered your account with. so if you have multiple email addresses then make sure that you're checking the correct one.

I got banned for 14 days. But they didn't send me an Email so I didn't know the severity of the next ban. Then I got permabanned, still no email. Maybe if I had known.... Anyway I filed a ticket but it seems that all of their talk is automated.

The first reply or two is generally automated. If you keep responding to the ticket then you can generally get a non-automated response eventually. Would you mind posting what the ticket says if you can?

Your account has been permanently banned after being escalated through multiple levels of punishment by our disciplinary audits.

To see the most recent games which led to this action, please log in to the client to view your reform card. While we do our best at Riot Games to encourage reform, we permanently remove players who continue to create negative experiences from our game.

This action is only taken after repeat punishments and we will not lift the suspension under any circumstance.

Although this marks the end of the line, we’re confident that with some reflection you will be able to avoid this kind of situation with whatever new games you decide to play.

Generally speaking, players who are toxic in game will receive a punishment shortly after their game has ended, provided a report has been made. The punishment can be a chat restriction, temporary suspension or a permanent suspension, depending on the severity of the negative behavior displayed in game.

More offenses on an account means a stronger punishment:

First offense: 10 games chat restriction Second offense: 25 games chat restriction Third offense: 2 week ban Fourth offense: Permanent ban This information is not a secret and we have posted an article about this on our Support Page - not to mention that we have outlined what we expect from our players, and what is not allowed in our Terms of Use and Summoner's Code.

This being said, your punishment really depends on the severity of your toxicity - it is possible even to be permanently suspended for just one game with no prior punishments.

An e-mail was sent out to you when you received your 2 week suspension, so if you did not receive it then it means that your inbox may have been filtering e-mails from us incorrectly.

I don't know maybe they can rescind the ban.

Riot rarely rescinds bans unless you can prove you were banned in error. From your post at the top, it doesn't sound like that was the case. You didn't reform despite the 14 day ban being the sign that things were getting serious.

You can always try, just don't get your hopes up.

Did not get either Emails. Neither the PermaBan one nor the 14 day ban one which states that the next infraction would cause a permanent suspension. If I had known.

I've never received a ban so I can't say from experience but everything I've seen from arbiters and riot members says that they do send you and email an specifically let you know the next offense is a permanent ban. The issue is that email sometimes gets filtered into the spam folder. I also believe the in game warning also let's you know the next offense is a permanent ban.

Doesn't it tell you your behavior when you log into the client along with the reform card and the warning about the next punishment being permanent suspension?
