Player since S5 gets a 14-day suspension...

Hey all,

Just wanted your take on why I got a 14-day suspension. I read this over a few times, and my boyfriend looked it over and he couldn't see what would be wrong either.

Is the f-word not allowed? I've typed it many times in games, and I was not being rude to any other players in my games. :(

Very disappointed, as I can't think of what would be wrong!

The %'ed out words are another word for us gaymers. The Irelia and I were laughing about being silly boys.

If "gaymer" is the word being censored over and over again, the system probably took it as hate speech.

You can probably put in a ticket to have it repealed, but I hear that's very rare.

No, the word that was starred out is %%%%%%. I'm gay and I've never had a problem with being told my speech is hateful. I call my boyfriend a %%%%%% all the time.

That's fine. You and him can do that in private.

Go in public, say to a minigolf course, and start saying that loudly around others. I guarantee you the management will kick you out. Just because you have a "right" to say it does not mean other people have to listen to it nor does it make it acceptable to use hateful language in public.

It's fairly obvious. Would you scream it in public at a park with kids around? No? Then don't say it in League.

Nah, it's a homophobic slur. "another word for us gaymers" according to OP's commend. It's on the zero tolerence list.

It's my favorite fantasy/sci-fi novel by far. I haven't read the others though.
I have Demon Hunter on WoW named Usuleth because Usul was taken Lol

Depending on the server, I may have been the one to take it. (and the others are great, right up until the end when you think "wait, that's it?". It is. Turns out he died pretty suddenly mid novel so they 3-chaptered what woulda been 3 books)

No, I didn't see. I thought it was a copy + paste. It wasn't until the OP replied that that was made apparent to both of us.

Just FYI, afaik mods don't ban for edited posts unless it's egregious. I've posted a comment with a word I thought may be censored then edited it if it turned out to be not (or was, as needed). Just saying you can try that to see!

Hey! Dont bother getting second hand information! Go straight to the source! Look up the summoners code, take a read at the rules, and compare it to your chat log. You will find for yourself what rules you broke! Its simple and you dont have to waste time asking strangers who dont actually have access to anymore information than you! You can do it, I know you can! (It was the gay slurs, OBVIOUSLY, and you will find that in the rules of the game, so please protect yourself and get informed!)
