Riot games throwing around perma bans like they don't matter.

Well $700+ dollars and 4 years of game play later... I got permanently banned for saying someone was shit. Racism? Sexism? Telling people to KYS and die in a hole? Running it down midlane to feed multiple times in a row? Nope. My teammates refused to communicate and help, and I told them they were shit. Pretty anti climatic when you think about the word PERMANENT BAN.

Who cares that this guy has played for four years? Who cares that this guy gave us $700 for some shitty ingame skins? No warning, No chances. 1 Single game decided the future for a 4 year old account.

This is absolutely mind-boggling that Riot games have a "No tolerance" policy on a competitive game. Competitiveness means emotions and tension will run high. That is a by-product of competitive games. Why the fuck do you think that you can throw a ban out because the competitiveness pushed someone over-board? Slap them with a 1 month ban, see how they go from there. But to permanently remove them from the game based on few instances? Unjust.

The circumstances under which I was permanently banned simply weren't there. I tried my absolute hardest that game to win, I was competitive and when my team played poorly It made me angry. But I wanted to win. It pushed me overboard and I ranted about how bad my teammates were. Does this really deserve an absolute, final and permanent ban from the game? Not a warning or a lesser punishment? I've seen games where people literally tell the opponents to kill themselves, to die in a hole. I've seen games where people bought 6 tears and ran down mid. I've seen the worst of it and at the end of the day, I wouldn't even wish a permanent ban on those people.

"Fuck competitiveness. Fuck giving people a chance. Fuck improving at the game and thanks for the $700" - Riot Games

If the last thing you cucks at riot do is remove this post without at least acknowledging it I will be very disappointed. This should be a warning to others to not invest too much into this game. It'll all be thrown right back into your face without a second thought.

Before you start your campaign of rage against Riot, what does it say when you try to log into your account? Is there a year that you are banned until?

Riot hands out perma-bans for things like charge-back problems, which are completely reversible (and identifiable by the year ban date).

But if you received chat logs? Then yeah, you probably shouldn't have been a dick in chat. I find it highly unlikely that you went straight to a perma for just saying something as mild as, "someone was shit". You'll have to provide proof to convince me otherwise.

It's much more likely you said something far more severe, or you're hiding the fact that you've had multiple bans before this final infraction.

Dang, I've always gotten warnings for verbal abuse or whatever. And ever since I've gotten those warnings, I've stopped breaking the LoL guidelines, tried to be not toxic or flame at all. But something like that, just getting perma'd on the spot, no warnings, nothing, that's kinda crazy in my opinion. But, we haven't seen exactly what you said in that game.

Your opinion has no say in this. Whether you liked their rules or not, you did agree to abide to them, then you went back on your own words. You were given plenty of warnings whenever terms of uses popped up after every patch.

I seriously, seriously doubt one single game got you permanently banned, though, considering how lenient riot is. I mean, in my opinion one offense should lead to permanent ban so if what you said is true then the way they dealt with it is the exact ideal I hold, but I strongly doubt it unless things were taken to the extreme. Did they actually respond with that one single game's chat log saying that was the sole cause of it?

Sorry but no one that isn't a banned troll rager is gonna believe your argument unless you post your reform card first. Also, just because you spend money on this game doesn't mean that you're immune to the rules as you're not. From Ulanopo's Knowledge Base:

Riot bans people because they make money off of forcing people to create new accounts and repurchase the skins.”

Just stop. This is a really silly argument. I didn’t pay for my account any more than you did and while I have bought a number of things, I didn’t have to. There’s nothing relevant to competitive play that I couldn’t have bought with IP.

Also, Riot actively discourages people from making new accounts.

From Lyte: (link (http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?p=33432435#post33432435))

Actually, if we're permabanning you we don't want your money or your time. Just find another game.

From the Tribunal FAQ:

Do paying players get leniency? Paying customers are treated exactly the same as non-paying customers by the Tribunal.

Stop whining. Get out. Bye bye! Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out :^)

You never showed your chat logs. It's quite obvious, from my perspective, that you were toxic and got banned. There's 100% no way they permanently banned you for saying "You are shit". Chat logs or RIP.

what's even funnier is that riot is firing all their behavioral people (first lyte, then a few others) who disagreed with the system.. Guess they really don't like their player base at all.

Folks this is a tip for the next poster:

Don't use how much money you spent on your account:

"Well $700+ dollars"

Because 1. nobody cares, and 2. that will be used against you in any future discussions. ...when you are trying to make an argument, don't give your opponents ammunition....and there is a legitimate argument to be made here.

Toxic pre-mades are roaming the league, getting people falsely reported, and riot won't wake the F up and do something about it.

Show us your chat logs if you have any.

There are other reasons though for why it might have happened.

What about all the chances you had after chat restrictions and the 14 day ban?
