Duo Que Griefers

While I do not have evidence, as I have been too busy attempting to deal with the results of this issue to actually remember to screenshot proof, I would like to mention that I have noticed an increasing amount of duo que players (that is to say, players that que as partners, not necessarily in ranked) have been, from the moment they get into the match, harassing teammates, intentionally avoiding team play, completely ignoring my thresh lantern as an escape route and just running by it, only to come back to it when i've gone in and take it just in time to riskily last hit a garen whose ult is up..., as well as flaming me for zoning the enemy poppy back into range with my hooks, for attempting to "killsteal" - when they wouldn't have been in range to get the kill unless the poppy decided to do exactly what they did do, and dodge the hook... rushing in and stealing kills, yelling at me when i take a kill in a dive because i didn't expect them to survive, yelling at me when i get them kills in teleport plays and just altogether being absolutely rude... --- i muted them and their pings about 15 minutes in.

that was just this one time. everyone in the match on both sides was very obviously a smurf... hence why i'd have teleport on thresh: it's a low level match and i'm leveling up a new account because i wanted to keep my own name on my regular account but i also wanted an account with a different name.

This has however, happened before. Now, this time, I was unable to get the duo que to be punished by the tribunal system because while their behavior was truly unsportsmanlike and most definitely was worthy of punishment, it was not as obvious directly to the system as the first time this occured.

The first time this occured, there was a lee sin jungle duo queing with a yasuo mid. these two also intentionally attempted to deny the allied team resources. Lee frequently would Q a target and wait to go in, forcing teammates to A. get the target low and let lee finish it, allowing the primary portion of the gold go to lee, or B. just walk off and let lee A. feed (unlikely) or B. also walk off, leaving the target alive and depending on when lee's allies left, possibly feeding him a free kill. Lee also would consistently come to lane only to take lane CS (not taxing for a gank, just... denying his laners the opportunity to CS. he still had his own jg camps to kill.) Yasuo called mid a whole 10 seconds after our midlaner called mid, and then locked in yasuo. he went mid alongside our midlaner, baited our midlaner into fighting the enemy laner, thinking that yasuo might help, and then just as our midlaner died, ignite-Q'd the enemy laner and took the kill. not long after, our midlaner forfeited lane and went to support our adc so that the adc didn't end up with too many problems, but lee and yasuo continuously expanded their efforts towards resource denial and resource thievery, to the point where they effectively just followed us and only attempted to take resources that we had made it clear we were intent upon taking for ourselves. Luckily I was playing kayn (and noticed what they were doing) and was able to compete for resources, so i and our (true mid) support began to swallow up midlane, toplane and both jungles, completely pushing yasuo and lee out of the game and carrying the match alongside tristana... so we were able to win the match despite the duo que's continuous attempts to deny teammates resources... but it still was a pain and the main reason i've even mentioned this match is that the only one who was even punished through the system was lee, and even that was only possible because he spammed racial slurs for half the match. -and yes technically my "support" and i did deny them resources moreso than they denied us resources, but only as a side effect of securing every resource in both jungles and all lanes so as to rapidly snowball and end the game (which actually proved to be very effective) - needless to say we didn't need to steal any of tristana's resources. everyone knows how fast she waveclears.

-now i've noticed i'm not actually the only one who's run into duo partners running around intentionally griefing so i would like for others who do notice this post to reply with their experiences as per the matter. It's a lot more common than you might think, and it's nearly immune to reports so we need to bring awareness to RIOT. chat, pings and inting are not the only ways people grief these days. they're getting smarter. they're finding loopholes. they're doing everything they can to be the worst parts of society that they can possibly be and they're doing it right under our noses with no consequences.
