As A New Player

Im pretty new to the game (2-3 months) and I'm having trouble playing a match with people of my same skill level. I struggled and played my way all the way up to lvl 30 where I was met with ranked games against gold (mostly) and silver players. Throughout the entire process it was always either a toxic smurf or a player also of lower skill that compared to that of an INT feed. Even after saying to myself "you know what? Maybe you were boosted from playing with your friends, and maybe you should make a solo account?" As i returned to level one i found the same smurfing toxic community i tried to escape. Im familiar with the concept of mmr and such but i still find it difficult to enjoy a game where im constantly being kicked around like a wounded dog. As a new player im slowly coming to the realization that its too late for me to start playing league because at low levels even the low level matches are filled with people who get a rise out of being toxic and smurfing without limits. Its really sad because I feel league could be a great game but unfortunately its filled with one of the worst gaming communities Ive ever played with and I wish Riot could do something about it.

Its a game full of hate. Get used to it, its also the most toxic game just like cs in the old days. (After 1.6 version) of course, occassionally u got friendly teammates who wants to achieve the same goal with u but truth be told, the more u play the more realised that u have stucked into this black hole (im one of them apparently and kept playing and playing) XD

just mute them, not much u can do besides that, keep playing on your main account u will get away from the smurfs eventually and remember some "smurfs" are toxic because their main account was banned

I've seen way worse gaming communities. That doesn't excuse the people who are being bad, but it does give a little perspective. One issue you're having right now is the recent ranked reset. Everything's a mess for about a month or two when they do that. Soon, the MMR system sorts people out and things go back to normal once the new season starts.

Have patience, mute the morons, and keep having fun.
