Seeking help over a banned account.

So, I understand I deserve a punishment of some sort. Not arguing that. I had some toxic team mates and I got passively aggressive with them. However. My last punishment was over 6 months ago as far as I know. Until now I have exercised good behaviour and haven't had any valid reports against me. So it was my understanding that my punishment tier would go down over time, which means at most I should have received a 2 week temp ban rather than a permanent ban. I was wondering if someone on Riot's end could look into this for me, because I believe a mistake was made. Thanks for your time and consideration.

You descend punishment tiers based on your overall behavior record since your previous punishment. This rating is not based on time, but rather behavior spanning some unknown amount of games. Rioters rarely look into player's punishments on the board; the best course of action is to submit a support ticket.

First, if you would like to talk to Riot directly about your punishment, then your best bet would be to submit a ticket to Player Support, if you haven't already. While it is possible, it's not guaranteed that a Rioter will see/comment on your post here on the boards. Try to be patient as can take a while for you to get a response back.

With that said, you are correct that punishment tiers do go down over time, however that amount of time is not an exact number. It's not as simple as going a few months without receiving a punishment, you need to be actively playing matches during that time while showing consistent, improved behavior. Not only that, but the amount of time it takes to drop down a punishment tier is going to be different for each person. It's been stated that on average it takes a person around 3 months to drop down one punishment tier, however it may take other players faster or longer to do so. It depends on their past behavior as well as their behavior in the games moving forward.

EDIT: Looks like you did submit a support ticket while I was typing my message. So yeah, just wait for the response and see what they say.

I'm thinking my account may have been flagged for hate speech because in one of my games, I relayed to the enemy team that jungler had called our support a "ni**er" on several occasions. I'm in the process of submitting my logs to player support, but I've yet to hear back from them.

u have to play alot of game without being reported. time doesnt matter, the amount of games does.
