Can anyone reasonably explain why i got banned for this chat....????

This caitlyn, stayed bot all game, called us idiots said fuck rest of you guys "imma do my own thing" an exhibited no teamwork and complete unsportmanship like conduct. I along with the rest of my team reported her.. and yet I was banned for MY CHAT LOG??? Comeon riot this is so harsh, like chat logs are way way way worst then this and don't get banned. Can you (riot mod) please pick out where i went wrong to deserve a ban?? and how does caitlyn not deserve the ban? my first impression with reading your chat log is that i would mute you. I dont want to see or hear a teammate who is constantly flaming and harassing one of my team members. in addition, while you maybe didnt say anything outright bannable, your tone along with your refusal to drop the issue is probably what led to your ban. also playing bad is never reportable. unless it is something like buying 6 tears and running it down mid

Obviously you cherish your rito company policies and you love the fact that trolls hold free reign over the game. Saying a swear won't get you banned. Saying "You fucking suck" will probably get you a report, and continued behavior like it will result in a chat restriction of two varieties, if that's not enough to open your eyes, what will eventually become a ban for 14 days, before finally being permanently banned. Not sure what's not clear about this.

Respect other people, mute the people that don't respect you and report them after the game. It's very simple.

I had her muted all game. At no point did i say that, I didnt say anything directly to her at all. Only after we had lost the game , I had asked people to report a toxic player. THAT IS ALL. SO now its banable to punish a player for reporting a toxic player???

Why turn them MORE against your team? You already felt you were 4v5, yet you decided to alienate them further with your words?... It's a team game, and you're making it worse by making them out to be the reason you're losing. Even if that "is" the case it doesn't help.

You're harassing your team mate, and making them feel bad, even if they are being negative, even if they don't have the greatest score in the world. (And 2/3 is definitely not as horrible as you seem to make it out to be.) I don't understand how it helps to berate the other player which is probably why you got the report and restriction.

That person literally explained why you got restricted for your chat. You were constantly flaming/harassing your teammate - and it caused a negative experience for the 4 people you forced to watch you be a jerk in chat.

Please realize, I had her muted majority of teh game. I wasnt flaming her. she was trolling, i was trying to get my team mates to ignore her and calm down...

At that point the game was lost, i was just trying to get my team to report a trooling player. I wasnt being toxic.

You were harassing a player you thought was trolling. You are not the judge, nor are you the jury, nor are you the executioner. You do not get to determine if someone is trolling or not, and even if they are, you don't get to enact punishment on them.

You harassed the teammate by calling for reports on them - it is unnecessary and rude. Furthermore, you caused a negative environment for your team by constantly harassing your teammate - nobody wants to see someone being a jerk like you were - even if they think they deserve it.
