how come when i report people who tell me disgusting hurtful sexist things nothing happens but when i DEFEND myself i get a chat ban??? this is the second time this has happened. im losing faith in this game. why are the people who are the problem and are incredibly toxic not getting in any trouble? how come im the one getting a chat ban with no explanation as to WHY?? Just because you didn't get a notification doesn't mean they weren't punished, you only get that notification if your report was the final one to cause the punishment, not if it was one of the flags along the way.
"Defending" and firing back are different things. If you got a chat restriction, it was most likely justified, but you are welcome to post your chat logs in a post so that people can be the judge of that. Otherwise we can't empathize with what you may or may not have said.
If this is your second time getting a chat ban, you obviously aren't handling people being rude very well. Your best bet would be muting the person, which solves the problem and prevents you being in a flame war that warrants a chat ban.
You're only responsible for your own actions, and by the same token only you are responsible for your own actions. What other people do doesn't excuse what you did, two wrongs don't make a right.
Checked you out on op.gg and i'm just gonna throw this out there, due to your current rank of Bronze V, the people you encounter will almost always be one of these things in chat, or a combination of.
Honestly your best bet is to mute everyone in the game the instant you load in and buy your items. If you want, let them know they've all been muted and to communicate with pings, I promise you, almost nobody in your current elo has anything beneficial to say to anyone else.
Not meaning to bash you for having a low rank or anything, I was bronze once myself, and I know the struggle, and because of that, seriously just mute everyone.

Can we see your defense? Maybe your that 1% of fringe cases that are errors Without logs we can only assume you're not
