The 14 day ban is way too extreme.

I have fallen in love with league of legends over the past two months. I love the style of gameplay, I love the champions, and I love Mobas in general. However in a ranked game I had gotten tilted and was intentionally feeding. I regret it completely, and the following week I had never done anything of the sort ever again. However the reports were reviewed and I was suddenly hit with a 14 day ban. I have spent a lot of money on this account, and a lot of time playing and enjoying myself. A 14 day ban is ridiculous for someone who has never done anything like this in the past. And not to mention, banning in general is just way too extreme. A ban in an online game is the result of many, many offenses. A ban in league of legends is the result of one mistake. Not to mention, it is understandable if I were to be banned from ranked, but I am not even allowed to play Co-op vs AI, Normal blind, Normal Draft, etc. Normal matches should never be held to the same standard as ranked matches. Normal matches should be fun, enjoyable. Because it's simply to test out a character or have some fun with friends. If anything, rather than bans from league, it should only be bans from ranked. No other video game is this extreme about things like intentionally feeding.

if you didn't feel it, how would it be called a punishment?

Your next punishment will be a permaban. even small things like asking for reports can get you permabanned.

Consider yourself warned.

There are many here who feel that Intentional Feeders aren't caught often enough. Sending a firm message to those caught in general seems like a good idea to me.

Gameplay related offenses (i.e. trolling, intentional feeding, etc.) are automatically given a 14-day ban as the first offense when caught, as a chat restriction would do nothing to discourage that sort of behavior. Also, it doesn't matter what mode it is, the rules still apply to all, and you're still playing with other human beings who don't appreciate it when someone goes out of their way to intentionally ruin their games.

Next time if you're frustrated, take it out on something nearby like a pillow or something instead of on the other players in the game. You can also just take a break from the game for a while to help calm down before coming back with a more level head. Remember that you're on thin ice right now, as the next punishment regardless of severity will be a permaban. You can definitely improve your account standing by not behaving poorly, but just be warned that if you don't a permaban will happen to you.

P.S. Money doesn't make you exempt from the rules in this game so don't even try it.

Why feed? If someone is raging at you then mute them. If you aren't willing to play then just afk farm off somewhere and split a lane by yourself. Players can't enjoy a game that you feed in. If you feed in ranked, where the match actually matters to you, why would normals be different? It might even be worse there. Intentionally feeding is worse than verbal abuse because you break the balance of the game. You force 9 other players into a game where the outcome is decided and you keep them there. You deserve nothing less than a 14 day ban.

Should have been a perma ban. lucky it's only a 14 day. Maybe you'll stop trolling.

However in a ranked game I had gotten tilted and was intentionally feeding.

This is a automatic 14 day minimum ban. They don't do less severe punishments for not chat related offenses.

I have spent a lot of money on this account, and a lot of time playing and enjoying myself.

So what? Spending money doesn't buy immunity.

A 14 day ban is ridiculous for someone who has never done anything like this in the past.

If you had done this is the past it would have been a deserved perma ban.

And not to mention, banning in general is just way too extreme.

Nope. It is a justified response to a individual breaking the rules of conduct within the community as outlined by Riot.

A ban in an online game is the result of many, many offenses.

Severity is determined by offense.

it is understandable if I were to be banned from ranked,

Why does it matter if it is ranked. You ruined the game for other players regardless of which mode. If it was a Co-op vs ai game you would still deserve a ban.

Normal matches should never be held to the same standard as ranked matches.

You ruined the gaming experience of other players. Regardless of mode.

Normal matches should be fun, enjoyable.

All modes should be fun/enjoyable.

If anything, rather than bans from league, it should only be bans from ranked.

I really think this should be a perma ban based on this attitude alone.

No other video game is this extreme about things like intentionally feeding.

So?

I used to be like you, then I got permabanned. Take the lesson and stop being toxic.
