Permanent bans are over reactions and unnecessary

so... I got perma banned.. it sucks especially since ive put so much time and money into my account. riot perma bans people to make lol a more friendly environment when there are so many other ways they could do that without robbing you of your money and taking your account away from you. Why don't they just remove your chat? what is wrong with just pinging? im sure everyone could agree that removing chat is a more reasonable thing than banning access to your account Pls comment

Because there are multiple ways to be toxic. Removing chat is like trying to put a standard bandaid over an amutated limb.

Just because one player is toxic doesn't give you the right to be toxic and yell hateful stuff back in chat, or troll sometimes you have to just mute everyone and do your best even if its your worst.

I hope they don't remove chat ! Maybe an option for an individual to remove their own chat. Personally, I've learned a lot about this game because we have chat and I can't imagine a newbie coming on and having to figure out what all the pinging is about.

About using this as an alternate to perma-banning an account I say No. A person can ruin a game w/o chat and they do ! I'm not going to get into all the ways people do this already (enough people know how) but when you are at the point of a permanent ban that person has had many chances to change and just didn't.

This is going to sound very harsh but if a person Just can't stop typing crappy things //// tear out the enter key !! Sorry, but I don't want to lose my chat privilege for no reason and I honestly don't want to play with someone who has been constantly rude.
