Chat banned for reporting people who are harassing our teammates? Can someone please explain?

I value games where everyone has a positive attitude and refrains from namecalling others for honest mistakes or what-have-you during the match... so in Que i send a simple message that looks something like this "just a heads up, i will not hesitate to report anyone I see name calling or harassing fellow teammates. lets keep this a clean fun game guys :)"

then during the game when people forget that and start harassing each other i try to remind them again and i may have to dish out harassment reports. but then i get a chat ban. Why do i get chat banned for reporting people for harassment and trying to encourage positive behavior for the betterment of the game and our team?

Please post your chat logs. Keep in mind that it does not matter what anyone else does or if anyone else is breaking the rules - your behavior is judged on its own.

If you continually "reminded" people you were going to report them, that certainly falls under negative attitude and may even fall under you harassing them yourself. Again, please post your chat logs given in the client so we can further analyze them and explain why you were punished.

Probably because you threatened people to report them which is report worthy as harassment.
