Is building something that is entirely useless on a champion disruptive behavior?

I just played a game with a Kha player that was camping for my bot lane and was typing to the other team saying that he doesn't care about his account and that its a trash account. He continued with this banter and said that he didn't care about this game or something in that nature and told the other team he was going to build Ardent Kha. I didn't believe him at first but then realized that, with his second item, after jungle item, he had bought ardent censor. To me, at least, this seems like someone who does not care about the status of his account or the people that this player effects by building items that have no use to the champion that is being played. I'm not saying that all "nonmeta" things are trolling or disruptive, I'm just saying that in this particular case the item purchased does not seem to do anything for the player or the team and seems extremely disruptive.

doesn't the font of life healing proc from his slows and thus give people healing and thus giving them the ardent stats? im pretty sure they do AND khazix has ap scalings

considering for a while trundle support was attempted during the ardent meta when 8-9 bans were dedicated for the utility supports his pillar worked in that manner

negative attitude and intentionally feeding would be enough for a ban if he was intentionally losing his team the game regardless of item purchases

No, it's definitely trolling. A lot of people on the boards seem to misunderstand there is a distinction between non-meta and trolling. And regardless of how incorrectly they wanna define non-meta, the punishment remains the same.

Building Ardent on Kha'zix is trolling even if he had built Locket to at least pretend he was"trying", which he didn't even bother to do.

Building the "wrong" items is not, or at least should not be, a bannable offense, unless no part of the item has any use whatsoever to the champion building it and the player building it clearly knows that.

In this case, Kha'Zix gains some benefit from 5/6 parts of Ardent Censer, and that increases to 6/6 if he's using the Font of Life rune.

Also, naming and shaming

I removed the image from your post. If you edit out the name, then I think it'd be fine to repost. That behavior does seem to be intentionally not trying to win, so I would have reported that player for feeding, with a note about why you thought that they were feeding (or really, not trying to win).

There's still some justification for Ardent on Kha. It's weak as fuck, but there is justification that's possible. Mana regen+Movespeed+Potential Font of Life heal, plus he does have an AP scaling.

You'd have to look at something like Tear on a manaless champion pr Rabadon's rush on a champion with no AP scalings for a ban to be possible.

The less important part is the build, and more him inting (or at least, supposedly, threatening to do so). Either way, you should replace your screenshot with one that has the name hidden, as naming and shaming is not allowed on the boards, no matter how much they might deserve it.

Building the ardent on khazix in itself doesn't make him trolling, the intent behind it does.

As others have mentioned, the are some uses for ardent on K6. But if he's building it to purposefully lose the game or cause grief towards others, then it will be trolling.

From the screen shot alone, he's not trolling. With the additional text you provided, maybe he is. The rest would depend on his history, but we don't have access to that.

No, it isn't. Also, censor the player's name in the Screen Shot.
