Riot PLS: Let us disable Team Chat.

Folks ask for this occasionally. Every time they do, I worry that I'll be unable to effectively communicate strategy to people because they'll start the game without chat active. That seems unhealthy, or at least against the spirit of the chat system.

I hope one day they listen to your request. Nothing good comes from not letting people disable it. Some people just don't do well trying to communicate in this community.

I don't know man i had some fun with my team in chat before, there isn't always toxic sentences that comes out of this feature, and it can be useful, strategy wise.

If what you want is to not be able to type anything in it, look at this thread to find out how to disable your enter key so you won't be able to type anything, but still be able to see it ( useful for strategy sometimes, and you can still joke around with your teammates and so on ).

Overall i don't think this is a great idea.

What's the point of muting all-chat, including your team? To avoid toxicity.

But what is the cons of it? You can communicate, but what is the point of communicating if your trash team doesn't listen?

The chat system should be off by default if you want to chat get a group going and chat all you want chat may cause afk may cause feeding might even result in bans if you like players in the game spending money then remove or make chat an option you have to turn on
