I could put up with the toxic community by literally muting everyone, rather "friend" or foe, and relying just on pings. An exchange that had to be made due to the racism, hate speech and vulgar conversations in every single game. I could deal with the fact that the entire game and concept was stolen from activision and dota - that's defense of the ancients, a game created by a third party in the warcraft sagas for all you children who thought this game was original. I could deal with the OP and lack of balance for heros due to a new broken money grabbing hero introduced every other month - swap to leblanc and oh well its not fun its broken. But being punished for YOUR game crashing is enough for me.
Thought I'd grab a game before work, bug splat on loading zone. No big deal 3 minutes of reboot and log back in to find:
**Remake - Loss -19 LP. "You have been banned using the leaver buster system and will be placed in low priority ques for the next five games". **
When programming is this poor, when your system for punishing players punishes those who aren't destroying this "community" I think I've seen enough. Here is a list of things I will continue to do as other games are loading up just to prove a point.
1)_ Log in to show you how pathetic your leaver buster system is_ - don't stand in the well....that's all you can't do. Time to heimerdinger afk in the jg. 2)_ Laugh at your forced support role - I'm sure forcing anyone to play any part of a game isn't lesson enough for you. If you have to force people to play a certain role in your game isn't it safe to say its terribly lacking in the fun department? Oh well hope people like master yi smite supports. Or maybe ill try heal+cleanse teemo. always a fan favorite. Will i get a 5 game ban for that? My guess is no. 3) Mock the "Report" system - this is just to make raging kids feel better. I have seen afks and trolls in this game more so than in any other because deep down riot doesn't give a rats ass what it's like to que up. As long as their LCS isn't affected they will take the $10 skin money and allow all the racists, bigots and trolls to continue to afk/intentional feed/insult anyone. 4) I have already tested this "report" system and the only ban I have ever received is from a bug splat_ - literally trolled 5 games waiting to re-download wow and got no punishment whatsoever for it... 5) Troll on champion select - oh you don't want to play a game that's akali/talon/zed/teemo/soraka? You will lose LP and get punished for making the right call and leaving that selection. 6)_ I am proactively telling you this account and any other smurf accounts_ WILL ONLY BE USED TO TROLL. PLEASE riot prove me wrong, restore my faith and ban an account. I offer mine to prove my point. But you don't read this, you don't really care, and keep this in mind. Maybe a year later i may give you $5 so hey let him troll right?
If I am wrong about any of these feel free to comment. If you have found success in any of the flaws listed let me know. But that quote from them saying "We have banned an account thanks to your reporting of a player" again is just a message to calm the hot heads. I have trolled, I have been trolled, and no you don't punish anyone.
