id really like to play this game with my friends but there are too many smurfs even at the lowest levels of the game, like theres a guy with an account on silver or gold then he decides to make a new account and bully the newbies which is really bad for the game as it makes the newbies quit and then now my friends dont want to play this game with me cuz of this problem

Constantiine1 votesyour not allowed to smurph. they go so far as making you link your phone to get decent queue and if you want a smurph you have to make a new steam buy the game again (25$). then after that you have to play casual games to be allowed to play ranked. and when your allowed to play ranked you can only win 2 games every 24 hours. so it takes a minimum of 5+ games to just get a rank. and the game is just full of smurphs. at least 1 in every game. its a joke. riot fell out of the stupid bush and hit every branch coming down since season 4 but there not that dumb.

But lets keep pretending the punishment system isn't broke, and isn't having vibrating consequences on players like this one. Trying to play with friends new to this game.
You can pretend they'll fix the game based off mmr all you want, but then they just int troll and feed, also a system abused relentlessly, because it's only worthwhile rebuking the vocal players. This game is just trying to kill itself off now so they can start a new one.
Edit: this is why you're able to have multiple accounts linked to one email. They genuinely adore it when you make another one. Smurf, alt, reroll account, w/e you want to call it. They love that you've made a new account to potentially buy something, or to inflate the numbers of players "coming in" to the game.

CharDeeMcDenniz2 votesI cant find the post right now but RIOT has said that their matchmaking is really good at putting smurf with other smurfs very quickly, yes you can still run into them occasionally before they are sorted but they wont be matched up against legitimately new players for long

On the other hand, there are some people who smurf things other than Yi and Yasuo, and who are not total toxic ***holes. Often times they will try to help out newer players learn the game a bit more than they might just by themselves.

The smurfs i find silly are the ones that make a smurf when they are in bronze and think they are better then the elo they are in then wind up in bronze on there smurf anyways

A smurf is simply a lower leveled, or lower ranked account. That OR there is the key thing. A bronze still has higher level than a level 10. Often meaning they are more experienced than other level 10s. That does not mean they are good, or that only diamonds have smurfs. It just means that they have a higher leveled and ranked account that is still able to be played, and the smurf is the lower one.
Thus, a bronze player can have a smurf, and still be ending up in bronze eventually.

Unless it is in CLASH which they stated clearly, then the definition is "a second account".
And it is smurf, not smurph. So please, feel free to settle down already. I know you are trying to argue for smurfing but if you actually read or understood anything that was said you would realize just how silly it is that you are trying to argue about the definition of a smurf, which the one i clearly explained is the generalized and accepted definition of a smurf to pretty much everyone except yourself and a few other posts able to be found on google that state that only higher skilled people have smurfs....
Got news for you. Even a bronze is higher skilled than a level 10 who just started the game 90% of the time. So if the bronze is on a lower leveled account, they are by all means smurfing.

And on top of that, there may be reasons for having a smurf that are reasonable. For example, I'm currently considering making one not to go beat up on lower ranked people, but because I used to have MMR in the range of high silver to low gold, but my ability to play this game has atrophied to the point where I'd guess I'm now mid-bronze. And yet, no matter how long I sustain a win rate well below 50%, my MMR does not budge one bit. So I'd be making a smurf so I'm able to actually play with people near my skill level.
