Got chat banned, ban is up but when will i be reformed & able to get chests??

So i got got chat banned, i agree with why and i have changed my ways but when will i be able to receive rewards again as well as chests? It's my first ban ever and I am not toxic anymore, I'm super positive and nice. I've played through my 10 chat restricted games and about 5 more but still not eligible to get rewards/chests.. My question is how long is it gonna take for me to be able to get rewards again?

The official answer is "it depends". Basically you're still being watched closely despite having finished with your punishment.

The rule of thumb is 3 months. But the 'it depends' part of the answer is because you can't just take a complete break from the game for 3 months and be considered reformed. You do have to play games to actually prove you've gotten better.

Thanks guys! Very helpful, but man that is brutal!! 3 months is a little much for a first offender and I've changed if they'd look at my chat history plus i play at least a game a day so hopefully that will speed things up. Thanks again!

We're working on putting out a better explanation for this. For players that are punished by the Instant Feedback system and work off the punishment, they will still be restricted from earning Hextech chests or keys for a period while the system ensures that they have reformed their behavior. There is no fixed interval here - if you continue to play with sportsmanlike behavior, you'll eventually get back into good standing. We're looking into making a player's status more clear/visible to help avoid this kind of confusion.
