So i've had 4 accounts banned now. I know what you're thinking, this is a troll who is going to flame me etc etc. No, not really, i've had my bad games back when i was younger that I would rage and all that. I'm beyond those days. I just started my 4th account after being banned, i played teemo support for the majority of the leveling process. Now this new account is banned for 14 days.

During the days prior to the ban on the new account, I did an experiment. I did not say a single offensive phrase or word to anybody, I just merely talked as and commented to players, trying to get them to talk to me and have a good time. What I received was verbal abuse of the highest degree, what I would have said to people back in the day. In the end, I believe I was reported mainly because I was merely typing in this game, there was no possible way I was banned for verbal abuse because there was none.

This game is maybe the most thin skinned thing in the world. I was banned purely for typing and trying to make people at least laugh on the other team.

My plea is this: You must be able to take a slightly negative comment, you must be able to endure playful banter, you can not have a 100% safe space where nobody is ever allowed to speak their mind. I'm really not sure why chat hasn't been removed from this game because it literally serves no purpose and never has except to cause people who can't take a slightly negative comment frustration. Riot and the player base needs to grow a millimeter of skin and be able to at least speak to other players without reporting them or remove chat out right from the game.

If riot was serious about resolving this issue chat would've been removed a long time ago, anybody who actually communicates uses 3rd party programs.

banning someone's account so they'll spend more money is just about the worst business practice they could possibly do. While some people will just throw more money at the game after being banned, the majority would just quit or never spend another dime.

How do you figure someone's mind is made up without them even saying anything implying an opinion? They said the most neutral thing. See smart people like to see facts and data rather than just taking the word of a stranger.

You don't have to take my word. My main issue was with the fact chat can't be turned off or opted out from. This and the prior post by Dynikus is more flammatory than anything I typed in game yet you're allowed to incite and berate people on the forums without repercussion... interesting.

Explain to me how anything I said was flammatory? You talk about players being too thin skinned and yet you somehow see my post as well as Dynikus' incredibly neutral post asking for chat logs as flammatory. You're just projecting your own thin skin onto the league community.

Your core issues are invalid if you're lying, which we can and should assume if you were banned and wont post chatlogs.

I'm a 3rd party in this scenario, so let me be the voice of reason.

Korijenkins did not attack you. The wording may have been a bit stern, but not trusting the word of a stranger who has been banned 4 times is the most logical reaction in a scenario.

While your speech has been coherent and lacks the crazed vehemence of the typical ban victim, you cannot honestly expect anyone to trust you without proof of your innocence.

Find out how to post chatlogs, and post them. No one will listen to you until you do. If you really were wrongfully banned, we will support your case. But it is entirely possible that you're delusional to your own toxicity.

I talk in chat all the time, and I've never been banned. The only times I've been reported is when some lunatic who thinks 7/12 is intentional feeding got upset, but even then the reports were ignored because Riot's automated systems can usually tell when a report is nonsense.

My mind's not made up at all. you simply said you typed in game and got banned without saying what you actually typed. I've had this account since season 1 and haven't gotten banned despite regularly typing in chat, so by your theory, I should have been banned. You complained about how thin skinned the community was and said people should be able to take some negative comments, so that would indicate that you didn't just type friendly things into chat.

When you go to log into the client, you should get a reform card with logs from 1-3 games you got reported for. copy and paste those.

Actually, he was merely stating a fact. If you waltz in, say you're innocent, and don't provide a chat log, we have no reason to believe you. And if you think this guy is flaming by stating the fact that you aren't backing up your statement with provable facts, you're likely lying, as many people lie on here and then refuse to show their chatlogs. So I think you're the one who's oversensitive here.

Upon viewing Korijenkins recent posts... it would seem the way to go is to not type at all in game and just flame people on the official forums... If you think i'm trolling just look at the past forum posts.

Why are you even responding here? Why should your opinion matter more than Mimmys? I back Mimmy up on this anytime. Same experience. You write "Hey pals" ingame chat, and everyone goes like "fuck you i aint your pal". No lightheartedness, not many good vibes left.

How are they thin skinned, when you said all you would do is comment and try to get them to talk to you and have a good time? You're implying that this hurt their feelings, dude. That's not thin skinned. Your analysis and logic behind it is absolutely ridiculous. "I was being nice but they all flamed me. They're so thin skinned." Like wtf? Do you know what thin skinned means? I do agree that people are too thin skinned, but the way you came to that conclusion in this post is just plain moronic.

They were probably annoyed by some guy who keeps typing in game about Non game related things. Sounds like your experiment is trolly but idk what exactly you were saying to "make them laugh".

Also as somebody who has been in the profession production field for many years, this is exactly what a company would do to generate more revenue. Cutting off accounts of players who will return to re-purchase that same account is exactly the business model a company like Riot would use.
