I GOT PERMA BANNED FOR REPEATING WHAT SOMEONE SAID

first things first, i want to clarify that i have not gotten an email concerning my ban like riot has said they would send. i was supposed to get an email regarding it, but have yet to receive one.

so my name is Blazed Nami, i've only ever been chat banned 3 time in league, and banned once for 3 days years ago for leaving games due to parental problems. today I was playing a normal, and i had gone bot lane as support, and once i had flashed my mastery 7 icon the enemy support had called me sad for having mastery 7 on annie. now she was clearly trying to start something, and i hadnt had said anything alone the lines of being banned or getting a chat ban. as the game goes on, leo and i still talk, and our yasuo had commented and said to report me, and when he had said to report me, he had said, "report this dumb N annie" and all i had said after that was repeating what he had said so that the enemy team could report him. now i never called ANYONE a dumb N or anything along the lines of that.

i have been playing league of legends for almost 5 years now, and have spent over $2k on this game. i got a PERMA BAN, for something i didnt do wrong. should i be banned? why not give me a 2 week suspension? why not ban me from the chat permanently? ANYTHING would be better than a PERMA ban on a game that i play day and night. riot why? i honestly dont thin a perma ban is needed for this, especially when the yasuo, who had originally said that comment, didnt even get a chat restriction or anything..

yes i have said wrong things, but im not a toxic player. when people say things to me, i get worked up yes and i can admit that, but please remove the perma ban and at least make it a suspension. chat ban me, something other than perma ban. riot i have made mistakes and wish to please have my account back. this isnt fair honestly, nothing even happened to the guy that had said it to me, also, leona had been trying to claim i was a female by saying i complained like one. im not the only one in the wrong yet i was the only one punished.

whether i have to /mute all everygame and never speak to a single soul in chat, or whether i have to write a 10,000 letter report on why i should get my account back, ill do anything to have it back. league is love league is life, and this is honestly just devastating.

These chat logs are modified. Including the removal of you calling them homophobic slurs, and the addition of ?s to make it look like a question instead of an insult. I can post the actual chat logs if you'd like.

Additionally, this is your 4th punishment in a short period of time.

why do people constantly believe posters like this? At this point doubting should be your first and only reaction. Sure show support if they are waiting on a ticket reply after 4 ish days.

Usually being doubtful is my first approach (doesn't mean I wouldn't support them in their endeavour to clear things up, though). It's just that this case was different than most others, simply because OP had a plausible story that could explain why he was hit by a false positive. Most people just try to make that seem plausible by being overly surprised or outraged about their punishment, or maybe tell people an irrelevant sob story.

Honestly, these forums made me extremely cynical, but I have to admit that it has been a while since I've seen a case where somebody was lying and manipulating their chatlog this blatantly. Most people just lie implicitely or by omission in hope that the truth doesn't come out. OP couldn't possibly have hoped for any other outcome than to get smited, so I'm genuinely surprised they even tried that tactic.

I have only seen 1 cases of false positives for behavior, when the person was trash talking him self and the system did not understand it. In this case they were even warned to do that since theoretically they are being detrimental to the environment of the game. All other cases have been held up or held up but decided that the penalty was a tad harsh(instant perma). Toning down of a punishment is not saying exonerated.

The only cases i can remember that have been turned around are either hacked stories where there was previous documentation, false positive on 3rd party, or account sharing . And neither of those are behavioral in nature.

give this i will never believe these cases. People need to start applying reasonable doubt in things like this.

IS it reasonable to modify there logs? IS it reasonable to think they would lie? are they a stranger and you have no basis to trust there word.

if yes to all 3, then it is safer to doubt. You can bump for viability but do not get on the band wagon of how they were wronged.

It must have gotten deleted when i had to redo that bit due to the n word. Put the actual logs, i honestly dont care. Only thing i care about is getting my account back. Reforming will be honestly no problem, and if theres a way to prove that to you guys at riot, then tell me how. I understand calling someone a '%%%' is not right nor does it make it right for someone to use the word, but with as much shit as i have to put up with on this game, getting pushed over the egde isnt hard. Either way, im sorry riot, do as you wish with my account. Im already reforming into a better player

You also forgot that it was your 4th punishment in a short period of time, meaning you obviously AREN'T going to reform since the other 3 punishments did nothing to change your attitude.

Although he was right. When saying that you don't keep track of things you don't want to keep track of, you obviously saying that you did not want to reform at all since you didn't even care about it. I mean I can't even get myself a chat restriction despite being an active League player who plays at least 3 games everyday.

I play over 10 games a day, and i dont keep try of them because i dont want to overwhelm myself. Yes he was right, but he has no right to comment about someone else when he knows nothing about them. As someone with a fuck ton of anxiety, you dont want to keep track of those things that will just put you into an attack. I was too free with my words and i shouldnt have been. I can go on and on about how i can reform and how i was in the wrong. Im just waiting for riot to comment back

My best advise for you right now is just focus on your other accounts, cz you will not be getting back this one ever due to your toxicity. Asking for a 2nd chance is long gone when you got chat restricted & 14 days suspended.

Next time someone tries to piss you off, MUTE THEM. There's nothing beneficial with you talking crap back at them, as all it does is let your frustration loose & is bad. Also report them whenever necessary. Other than that, punching something or yelling in your room is another good way to let yourself out without costing your account.

I have NEVER gotten a 14-day. Ive only gotten chat restricted, then perm banned. Honestly, this is comparing me to tyler1, and i know by gods name that i am nothing like that guy. Its honestly still worth it to try and get it reduced, because like i said, i have never gotten a 14-day in my life. I would be so god damn happy if i had gotten one rather than this perm..

It actually IS possible to escalate to a straight permaban if your toxicity is way higher than average. That is why we need to see the exact whole chat logs you have with you in order to know if it's justified or not. But due to you trying something funny like modifying them, you've already sparked a rage-war with everyone at Boards here, especially with EvilDustMan.

You need to post the whole chat logs here, NO EDITS. Cz I've been surfing Boards waaaaaaay before you post this thread, and it's no problem for permaban people to post the n- or f- words in Boards. If you think it's not possible, show us a screenshot of them.

Evildustman was just being rude and toxic, he has no purpose in trying to help. I dont feel right with putting the n word on boards. I dont feel right using the word. The word was used only to tell the enemy team what he had said.

I said that riot could post full chatlogs, but they arent replying yet. I just dont see how what i had said was just SO toxic to not even get a 14-day. Its unfair. Why not give me a 14-day instead of the pervious chat restrictions. Even the thought of perm banning isnt right because how can people show riot that they have changed. I just wish i could talk to them personally

Your foul words wasn't even being directed to anybody at Boards, so it's okay to post them. Besides, everything you said in the chat logs is essential for evidence to be viewed to everyone for judgement.

So, you have multiple accounts, presumably playing all of them, and across all of them, you managed to accrue a lot of punishments, enough to get one banned.

Okay, let's say you have 4 buckets. The point is to keep the buckets dry. You are putting SO MUCH WATER in these buckets that you've already got one banned. That means you probably didn't just get 4 punishments in a short time, you probably got 5 or 6 or 7 and only noticed it on one when you got banned.

So no, you obviously don't care about reforming. Maybe you do. Fine. But from an outside view, from Riot's view, it looks like you don't care.

Well, you shouldn't feel bad then, you've got other accounts to play.

The hell? Who said ive gotten reported on other accounts? I have 1 account and its LEVEL 14. I have only ever played on my main account. Again, why comment when you dont know anything? Please leave my post, you arent saying anything helpful. I DO care about reforming, which is why i even reached out and put up a post in the first place. If anything, you should feel bad for trying to put someone down that you have no clue of.

ive known this, but the guy who had called me that, has probably said it to others as well, especially seeing as he was saying it multiple times during the game, didnt even get punished. i said it 1 time just to repeat what he said, and he said it multiple, yet i was the punished one

When the system has flagged you, you're judged on your behavior alone. Not relative to anyone else. Just your behavior.

Someone that hasn't been flagged yet because they were in better standing, because they weren't reported, or they simply lucked out, does not matter when judging your behavior.

Don't engage in his shit show next time. Mute him if you have to, but by joining him you are only encourage more negative behavior, and instead of a combined 4 reports for him, you got 4 reports on yourself too.

Eventually that person would get banned, if he continued the way he is, but you were still closer to the perman ban than we was. Riot usually gives 3 strikes, your previous chat ban's were indication of this. The racial slur was the last straw in my opinion. bad luck.

This just in: a Rioter on this post has confirmed the chat logs to be edited. For example, he said, question marks were added to make some statements look like questions. Presumably, one such case was with the racial slur. He many have used it as an insult and edited the log to make it look otherwise.
