Banning system only oriented towards toxic players?

Possibly 16 days ago I was banned for toxicity and rightly so. The reason for doing so was because two of the players that had been on my team afk'd and also intentionally fed, and because of this it led me to go head over heels in anger. I must of said "kys" about 10 times while they both sat afk and flamed one another. Towards the end of the game the two players (who I had flamed) said they were going to report me which I glady accepted, but I also said I was going to report them for inting and afking (to which they honestly did). After the game I assume I was reported for verbal abuse leading to my ban. I reported the two for intentionally feeding (griefing), giving up, and leaving the game. I received my 12 day ban, but I never did get a letter after saying those I reported were rightfully terminated. Not here for someone to flame me, looking for an open discussion. Thoughts?

Thought 1: Don't feed trolls. It sucks when you get trolled, but you're only playing into their hands by raging at them. It's the goal of trolls to elicit that response. Don't give them what they want.

Thought 2: They probably did get punished, but the feedback system only speaks up if yours was the LAST report sent that triggered a punishment. Assuming others reported the AFK/inters, somebody else likely got the feedback. That doesn't mean they weren't punished.

The IFS currently only gives the pop-up when your report is for verbal abuse or int feeding. For some reason it doesn't notify you when the report is about other forms of griefing. source: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/4ZhxeyVg-where-can-i-make-two-players-banned?comment=00020000000200000001

You don't always get the massage. The Problem is, Flame and toxicity can be seen from chatlogs really easy. Afk can also be detected pretty easy, but has lower punishments. Inting is something Else. It's hard for an automated system to parture inting from beeing Bad.

truth is that the system sucks at telling you someone got punished, as you'll only get the punishment notification when the game you reported them was the game that got them punished, if they play another game, you won't get a notification.

Thoughts is that Riot should prioritize the system's visibility instead of the upcoming new honor system (possibly tribunal 2.0).
