Like seriously how is this even slightly justified, I was playing a Doom bot game with a group of friends and i said "kys" as a joke in all chat to the bots and i was instantly banned for it like seriously. Anyone know what i can do about this?
A couple things.
Why would you type "kys" against bots??? Makes no sense whatsoever.
Why would you even joke about that in general? It's not even funny. How is that even a joke? Going around saying "kill yourself" isn't to be taken lightly. You wouldn't say that out loud in a public mall or directly to some stranger's face. There are people who don't take those words lightly, so you got reported by someone and it got reviewed as inappropriate
Was it a pre-made 5? I am 99.9999% certain the Doom Bots didnt reported you.
First off, you would never be banned if no one reported you....so you got reported by SOMEONE (presumably one of the other 4 human players and not the bots).
If it was a premade 5, then you need better background check on your "friends" and probably get better friends because one of them most definitely reported you..
If it was not a premade 5, then someone did not appreciate you used one of the zero tolerance word and reported you. Remember that even though you did not direct the word at any human in particular, you still subjected that word on your other 4 teammates who had to read it and their game might be ruined by it.
I personally would not care enough to report you if you directed it at the bots (those cheating bastards kinda deserved it), but it can and probably did offended someone with its usage.

Good, stop saying things that you know will get you banned and you don't get banned. It's that simple.
Did one of your friends report you?
You could not say that.
There was a case of a person in a full premade group get jokingly reported and consequentially banned posting here. A Rioter rescinded their ban after all 4 of his teammates came in here and confirmed that they did it not from being offended but as a joke. Assuming you're not lying get all 4 of your premade buddies to comment here and if someone refuses... well, you just found which one was the asshole who got your account permabanned as a "joke".
What if one of those doom bots was having a bad day? People constantly flaming them game in and game out for being overpowered, and your comment was just enough to push them over the edge? You think life is easy being a doom bot?! You got what you deserved!
Weird that you were punished for saying it directed at the bots. But if you were punished then it was because somebody reported you. You don't get punished for behavior if nobody reports it.
Somebody on your team must have found it offensive and chosen to report you.
Maybe one of your "friends" reported you as a joke. Need new friends, or at least ones with better jokes.
