Quitting this game

I started playing about 6 months after this game first came out. Throughout the years I have had a lot of fun meeting other players and introducing new people to the game that I had come to enjoy. Well, today was my last game and I'm not looking back. This community has become so toxic that harassment has become synonymous with this game and I can't think of any other sport where players are treated as badly. The ranked match making system is also a joke. With so many alt accounts from higher ranking players, its impossible to solo/duo queue without running into them and there goes all your points.

Hopefully others will read this and give some thought about whether this game contributes anything to their lives or is just a waste of time, resources and mental well-being.

wait.. so you're saying you've been here since 6 months after release and you've never been gold or higher?

Yeah it's really sad because I used to like this game too. This isn't even really the best MOBA out there and even more now because it's just kind of gross to be associated with the community of this game.

I don't know how anyone can respect themselves and mention League any more without looking like a self-victimizing underachiever. SMITE is actually really fun, and the community isn't obsessed with self-victimization and psychological baiting.

playing since season 1 and you struggle to get out of low elo lol you should quit. also there is mute button for a reason, so use it. I wish they would get rid of banning people for chat all together then maybe people would use the mute more often instead of crying over hurt feelings.
