Quitting this game

I started playing about 6 months after this game first came out. Throughout the years I have had a lot of fun meeting other players and introducing new people to the game that I had come to enjoy. Well, today was my last game and I'm not looking back. This community has become so toxic that harassment has become synonymous with this game and I can't think of any other sport where players are treated as badly. The ranked match making system is also a joke. With so many alt accounts from higher ranking players, its impossible to solo/duo queue without running into them and there goes all your points.

Hopefully others will read this and give some thought about whether this game contributes anything to their lives or is just a waste of time, resources and mental well-being.

idek.. i've been playing since early season 5 when rek'sai had just come out not long ago and i'm silver 3 ...

i started at the end of season 5, ended Silver, this season I'm Plat.

Yeah it's really sad because I used to like this game too. This isn't even really the best MOBA out there and even more now because it's just kind of gross to be associated with the community of this game.

I don't know how anyone can respect themselves and mention League any more without looking like a self-victimizing underachiever. SMITE is actually really fun, and the community isn't obsessed with self-victimization and psychological baiting.

Also I noticed there are barely anymore North American streamers left on Twitch.TV, most likely because the NA community is literally unplayable. This game is fading fast, even the pros are bored.

Um, I stream LoL quite often and I think you maybe getting some bad info on that comment of there being a lack of twitch streams showing LoL, its still quite abundant. But there is also still a huge presence on YouTube.

Which Pro's are bored of making money playing a game I googled to see if I could find some information about how the eSport LoL players are getting bored of the game and didn't find anything that was totally relevant to that statement...

***Also looking at the other posts you have made... you seem to have a problem with LoL in general so its safe to say you are targeting the game from one side. I think its fair to say that what logic you share is bias, its also fair to mention that one person with the type of distaste you have for the game isn't going to cause a wave of change in the community nor would a psychological analysis, that will figure itself out since the toxicity will dilute with time.

If you are letting winning or losing affect how much fun you are having with the game... Then the game just isn't for you. This isn't a game for people that can't uphold a level of conduct while playing, they don't last long anyway.

playing since season 1 and you struggle to get out of low elo lol you should quit. also there is mute button for a reason, so use it. I wish they would get rid of banning people for chat all together then maybe people would use the mute more often instead of crying over hurt feelings.
