Now I'm not trying to justify what I said or imply that it's not a punishable offense. I just want to notify you all that simply one game with 30~ messages all game is enough to lose all your honor that you built up over hundreds of games.

I'll provide as little context as possible except the eventful actions throughout to avoid making it look like a pity post, but basically I supported a laner who tilted, mass-pinged, complained, and finally grief our game by going mid to take cs and ruin it for both lanes and proceed the rest of the game to splitpush and then being killed until the game was over. They self-admittedly trolled and tilted, because I "took their farm" while they were dead. I guarantee that they avoided any punishment, while avoiding the list of trigger words or terms that are "offenses" used to determine things here.

We are responsible for our actions and how we respond to these people, right? That's the line that makes us accountable even though people like this are purposefully sabotaging the match, right? How often do you guys experience people like this? Less often than verbal abuse or offensive language? Not me. Maybe it's anecdotal and maybe I'm just a person who invites that behavior, but I seriously doubt it for how many times I see a person int, afk, troll, just to get a game ended that they don't agree with. Where is their accountability? How many years has this issue been addressed to Riot and do any of you feel it has been dealt with accordingly? or at all?

Anyway just be careful, cause this is all it takes.

You expect Rito to eliminate trolls and assholes? How many years did the internet or the dawn of humanity have and we still couldn't get rid of trolls or assholes?

You were shown 1 to 5 SAMPLES of games that you were validly reported in. Please don't make it sounds like this is the ONLY game that got you punished. That is misinformation and disservice to the player base.

This is most certainly not the first time you've spent 30 minutes bitching at your team and insulting them, this is just the game the pushed you over the edge into getting punished.

That's how it works. That's why i just never type anymore in game. Typing is the easiest way to get punished,

I agree... I just got chat banned, and I too am not defending my OWN actions or texts. BUT, that said, it is ridiculous that a player that says in all chat that he's feeding, threatens players with real life harm and asks for their home addresses, tilts players from other lanes, steals cs from my own lane and then proceeds to reek havoc on the last 1/2 of this losing game - gets to keep playing and MY frustrating comments get's ME the ban!

We all know that we can "mute all" or a particular player... but, the frustration of getting game after game of people afk'ing, matched up with players a whole 4 levels different, and having some people feed because they get 'auto filled' is crippling when you are stuck in lower elo's.

I have spent a LOT of time playing this game, and I do okay. Unfortunately, I can't yet 1v3 which is what it takes sometimes to win a damn game in this league with some of the most toxic players out there. When a ban comes from a game where the level of toxicity is SOOOOOOO high that the Pope would lose his cool, then there should be some leniency to this type of petty chat banning! Auto banning with an algorithm is ridiculous unless it is for genuine hate speech.

Just a frustrated and chat banned player!!!
