Banned for Malicious Software?

Hi,

I was recently "Banned due to the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client." I have never messed with any of the files or used any league of legends program what so ever on my computer. My computer can barley run the game as it is. I'm sure my ban was some sort of mistake. Is there any way i can fight this ban? I didn't even realize I was banned since I'm working every day. Please help. I've spent alot of hours and money working on my account..

I've never seen someone get banned for "Third party or malicious software" that did not fully deserve it, ever. I've never seen one of those bans overturned because, surprise surprise, these people were invariably violating the rule in some capacity.

But let's hope you are the one that breaks the trend; If you are telling the truth, file a support ticket and get in contact with a Riot representative ASAP.

Hey iOnslaught,

You'll want to submit a Support Ticket for this. Keep in mind that if you have shared your account information or are sharing a computer that others may have been using the illegal 3rd party applications and you will be responsible for that. If you feel your account was compromised you can run an account recovery ticket for that, and if successful they will reverse the actions taken by the other people.

I have same problem here. I send ticket to Riot and got answer like this:

Hello TwinklySweet,

Your account has been permanently suspended following the use of scripts, hacks, exploits or unauthorized third-party programs in League of Legends. Accounts that are caught using hacks to gain an unfair competitive advantage are subject to permanent suspension. We work hard to preserve a fair and competitive environment in League of Legends. Regardless of intent, use of unauthorized third-party programs is explicitly against the Terms of Use, which can be found here:

Keep in mind that account sharing of any kind is also against the Terms of Use. You are responsible for all activity on your account, so be sure to keep your account information to yourself.

did you ever let anyone else use your account? especially for elo boosting purposes? not trying to get you in shit for it, trying to help, so be honest

Trust me, I wouldn't be going this hard for something if i wasn't positive that I am innocent. Even if they keep saying they have solid proof, i assure you that is Impossible. I'm just waiting to get a response from Riot's legal team, hopefully they take this matter as serious as I am.

They are basically saying I am perma-banned since i was hacking or using this party software... This is literally IMPOSSIBLE. I need to know what steps I can take in regards to this because i spent too much time and money on that account and this game to be banned for something I did not do. Somebody please guide me in the right direction. I will literally gift you if you can help me...
