Questionable 14 Day Ban

I received a 14 day ban for this body of text. CONTEXT: the first comment we were joking around in chat pregame. the fiora on the other team started flaming in all chat for some reason so i fired a few constructive criticism missiles back to hopefully shut her up and get her focusing on improving (further context i beat her in lane). I don't see how this is instant ban worthy, I didn't get any warnings at all or prior chat restricts anything like that.

Even if you want to argue that it's confrontational, I definitely dont think it's ban worthy, it's hardly more than imo AND IT WAS BACK AND FORTH. no abusive comments etc just commentary on the game being played (maybe with some choice vocabulary)

I had to learn too the hard way of getting banned. Basically a Rioter told me saying anything that isn't neutral or positive is reportable and bannable. Literally saying GG is reportable if used in a manner in which your losing the game and you say that and ask for a surrender because your bringing the morale of the team down. Hence why it is considered negative and reportable.

Riot wants to force you to have to LISTEN to the ppl talking shit but your NOT allowed to say anything back. You have to take it like the little $%^&* you are according to Riot. Everyone has to believe they are Faker senpai regardless if they are bronze or not ... you are not allowed to tell them the truth they must live the lie for Riots sake so that Riot can get money from every dope who believes they are the Faker of bronze league.

So do yourself a favor and /mute all as soon as you enter a game and use pings to communicate. Riot does not want actual communication in this game. They should have removed chat years ago but they are too lazy to do it.

Simply mute everyone and don't type in chat at all no matter what the morons are doing. Focus on your game and carrying yourself out of the moron zone which I don't even believe exists. Communicate with pings only. Then and only then will you save your account from perma banning. Because your next punishment is a permaban guaranteed.

I personally dont think this warrants an instant 14 day ban. But I find it kind of hard to believe that this is the only thing that contributed to the ban. Pretty sure there's something you're not mentioning here. But, then again, I wouldn't be too surprised, based on the direction this game is going.

It's all good and well to clean up the community of toxic behavior, but it's going a little far.

No. If you've never had a 25 game chat restriction, you shouldn't have received a 14 day ban. Submit a support ticket.

Mind you, you deserve a punishment. And if you were int feeding or cutting out part of the chat logs, they'll know.

You do not deserve to be banned for this. Riot is systematically banning everyone they can for profit. To get you to start new accounts. Riot never started this to help the community. They are not and never will be your friend, it is all, and always will be, a money scheme. Last season, though I do not like bans for chat(only ranked gameplay imo), the chat bsns at least had a leg to stand on. Not this season though, it is now obvious what they are up to.

There's no reason to put stock in the ban system atm.

Its ineffective. It gives out enough bans for Riot to show they're doing something, but the standards are allllll over the fkn place. Some people are banned for minor things and some people are hardcore who get away with worse pretty consistently.

I file reports almost every game. 1.) The frequency is ridiculous and 2.) the IFS infrequency for this behavior is even more ridiculous. This has remained a true statement of every account I've ever been on for all the years I've played League, with the exception of last pre-season. For whatever reason there was a good month or so where I wasn't matched with many flamers or inters.

A soon as new season started, the behavior went down the crapper, and its worse than previous years. Yes this is all my anecdote, but multiple accounts? Almost every game? I must have the worst luck in the world then right? It couldn't possibly be that bad overall right? idk anymore

i will say this because is the true and i dont care anymore of riot and their false policy, i got one account banned for 14 days because a enemy team full of premades smurf reported me, because i was saying that they suck so they come here and play with low lvl players, in another account i generally got angry over my team and say "some things" but even in my second account i didnt get any chat restrictions yet, what im tying to say is that the report system is not working, is garbage, and the honor too, how can you be honor 5 and because someone think that is funny to give 5 reports to a player you lose ALL of the honor and had to play for WEEKS just to get honor 1 again.

Riot doesnt care about this and they wont fix it, why? because if you dont had honor you wont had free chests and keys, what that means? you wont get skin and champs shards anymore, so the only way you can get skins or shards is buying RP, this was all planed for riot to make extra profit.

and of top of that people who plays league WONT STOP playing league i mean, what riot think? if someone get a 14 days ban they will just stop playing? hell nah they will just create another account and start playin again Tyler1 is just a example, there are plenty of people that wont stop playing league i include myself, the best they can do is restrict the game chat for more than 25 games, 50 or 100 games, that way you only can say the necessary and will not waste the 5 message limit to flame or being toxic again, i got the 25 game chat restriction and since that i dont trashtalk anymore, the rigth punish is to restrict the chat, a 14 days ban is just a opportunity to create another account and level again and when you get unbanned you had 2 accounts again in the same level.
